Electra's pov (Aquarius)

Electra jogged along the sidewalk, her dog, Tracy, running next to her. Tracy was a service dog. Electra had PTSD, so Tracy helped her with that. Tracy also made sure that she was okay, because she had a robotic leg.

Electra had gotten PTSD about three years ago. She could remeber every detail perfectly. The pain, the screaming, and the look on her mother's face as she said her final words. "I love you." Her dad and Electra had thought that it would go away after a few months with perscripted therapy. The PTSD hadn't though. The doctors had said it was probably because Electra had too many triggers. She guessed she did.

As she continued running, the sound of an engine whirred behind her. Electra tried not to look towards the road as a car drove by, but she couldn't help it. She slowed down her running to a stop. Tracy noticed her stop, then the car. Tracy barked, loudly, to get Electra's attention. Electra looked at Tracy, who then started leading her away from the car, back towards their house. Electra followed, but couldn't take her eyes off the car.

As the car reached the intersection another car raced towards the other side of the intersection. Electra could hear the squealing of breaks, but that's not what she saw. Instead, she saw both cars continue to move. Then she heard the sound of cars crushing against each other and the screaming of a woman. Her mother. Pain shot through the space where her right leg used to be and her left knee buckled. She fell onto the grass next to the sidewalk. Electra let out a small scream, before dissolving into tears.

Tracy walked over to her side and snugged against her. Electra hugged Tracy while sobbing.

"It's my fault she's gone Tracy. I saw the truck. I should have warned her. Then she would still be here," Electra sobbed. Tracy whined, her way of telling Electra it wasn't her fault and she shouldn't blame herself. Electra stood up slowly and looked at Tracy.

"Let's go home." Tracy started running off down the sidewalk and Electra ran after her, hoping there was some chocolate at home and that her dad had gotten another bottle of pills for her.

Asher's pov (Sagittarius)

"Asher?" A voice whispered through his door.

"What?" He whispered back. He was already awake, having not been able to sleep, and was playing his Xbox.

"Oh. You're awake," the voice said. The door opened and Asher's little sister, Gennavive, walked in.

"Why are you up? It's three in the morning," Asher asked.

"I could ask you the same thing," Gennavive replied.

"Touchè," Asher said. "Back to my question."

"You answer first."

"Fine. I couldn't sleep. I tried for hours, then I gave up."

"I had a nightmare," Gennavive said.

"Oh. What was it about?" Asher asked, gently. Even though Gennavive was sassy, she was only 7, so nightmares were still terrifying to her.

"It... was..." Gennavive was having trouble speaking.

"It's okay. You don't have to tell me," Asher said. Gennavive nodded and sat down on a beanbag next to Asher. Asher wrapped his arms around Gennavive and hugged her. He could feel her shaking. Asher let go and Gennavive looked at the floor. Her eyes landed on a remote.

"Can I play too?" she asked. Asher nodded. "Yay!" Gennavive snatched up the remote and started playing. Soon she was smiling.

They played for two hours before Gennavive started to fall asleep.
