Drew's pov (Scorpio)

Drew finished his toast and walked towards the door of Ryan's room.

"Where are you going?" Kyle asked.

"Kitchen to get rid of the dish. The chefs probably need help anyways," Drew said. He walked out the door and was heading down the hall when he remembered they didn't have any chefs. Him, Kyle, and his younger sister Adalyn were the chefs. He entered the kitchen to see Adalyn scrubbing away on a pan. He walked over and put his dish in the sink. Then he walked to the other side of her and started drying the dishes. They had dishwashers, but most of the dishes their stepfamily had purchased couldn't be washed in them. Just another bit of cruelty. Once Adalyn had finished washing all the dishes she started putting away the dry ones. They had been working in complete silence up until their stepmother came in.

"Adalyn! Go upstairs right now and start working on Cassie's dress. She waiting for you up in her room so go grab your fabrics and whatever else you need and go!" their stepmother screeched.

"Yes Stepmother," Adalyn said quietly, quickly taking care of the dish she had been working on and exited the kitchen. Their stepmother tossed him something along with some sort of article of clothing. Then she followed Adalyn yelling,

"What have I told you about calling me stepmother? You shall address me as Rachel. You don't deserve to call me stepmother urchin!" He looked at the object he had caught. It was an earpiece with a microphone attached to it. So Rachel could give him commands even when he wasn't nearby, no doubt. He grudgely put it on. Then he looked at the clothes. It was a servants uniform. Great. Drew put that on too.

Drew felt bad for Adalyn. She had to deal with being a chef, a maid, a seamstess, and who knows what else all while she was 14 and was hardly eating anything at all. He had just finished drying and putting away all the dishes when his stepmother's voice rang out in his ear through the earpiece.

"The doorbell rang! Go answer it!" Drew pressed the button on the side of the earpiece and spoke.

"Why me?"

"Don't ask questions! Just do it boy!"

"Yes Rachel." Drew walked out of the kitchen and down a hall, then another hall, and finally the main hall. He walk up to the front door and opened it. There stood a woman who looked about 25ish if Drew had to guess.

"What do you want," Drew asked, already bored.

"Hello. I’m Raina Hunting. Is this the household of Drew Riverspire?" the woman asked.

"Yes..." Drew replied suspiciously. Why did this woman want to see him?

"Can I speak to him?" Ms. Hunting asked.

"You are."

"Oh! I didn't know you were a servant. I thought you were the head of this house's son."

"I am."

"Then why are you-"

Drew interpreted her. "It's a long story. Come on inside and I'll guide you to the sitting room where we can speak and will be able to hear if my stepmother comes." Drew opened the door further and Ms. Hunting walked in. She had a sort of regal air to her, as if she were a very important figure with much business to take care of. Not many people noticed this kind of thing though. Drew was just used to seeing it from his father. He lead Ms. Hunting to the sitting room and he sat down on a large leather chair. Ms. Hunting sat across from him on a velvet couch.

"So Drew you're obviously wondering why I want to talk to you based on the looks you've been giving me. But before we get into that I need you to tell me about your family and why you're working as a servant. How can your father allow it?" Ms. Hunting asked.
