Murdoch awoke at 4 am , he didn't know why but he just couldn't fall back asleep, it's not like Gillies had committed a crime and he was on the run , he was sleeping beside Gillies so he knew that , Murdoch rolled over and draped an arm around Gillies chest and planted a kiss on his head , lightly , careful not to wake him " morning Sweetheart." Gillies suddenly said , opening his eyes to look at Murdoch " isn't it to early for you ? " Murdoch questioned, Gillies Grinned " I wasn't sleeping. I was attempting to fall back asleep. " he reported, Murdoch nodded with his head against the pillow , Gillies snuggled closer to Murdoch's chest " I'm cold . Can we cuddle ?" Gillies asked with a child-like voice , that Murdoch had become used to him doing when he thought he might have to manipulate Murdoch to cuddle " yes we can sweetheart, come closer." Murdoch replied as Gillies came even closer ( if it was even possible) " there we go. You'll be warm and toasty." Murdoch exclaimed, Gillies smiled " love you. " Murdoch stated , Gillies gave him a quick kiss " I love you too , Detective." Gillies replied with a grin , until there was a banging type of knock at the door " Detective Murdoch get up ! It's an emergency! Something's happened to Dr.Grace ! "
