" I love you James . Nothing I ever had for Julia was as ...... addictive as this . When you were supposedly dead , I whisper I had you back , I actually cried at one point because you were supposedly gone and I felt guilty because I had Julia but I wasn't as in love with her as I was- is - you. " Murdoch finally said although it wasn't an actual answer " I love you too William...... I have since the day we met ...... but that didn't answer my question. What are we William?" Gillies asked again as he took Murdoch's hand in his " Would you be up to a relationship? I'd be happy to have you in my love life....." Murdoch replied, Gillies beamed " yes ..... I'd be up for it. " Gillies replied and pulled Murdoch into a kiss , Murdoch felt that he was dreaming, although he had denied his feelings for James Gillies for so long , it felt unreal now that he had admitted it " Sir ? J-James GILLIES ?!" George asked as he walked into the detectives office, Murdoch pulled away from Gillies " what have you, George ?" Murdoch asked trying to ignore the fact that George had just walked into his office, and saw him kissing James Gillies, " nothing sir , I just thought you had gone for lunch with Dr.Ogden ....." George said sheepishly and left , closing the door behind him " y'know James ....... I've been wanting that kiss for long than I'd like to admit......." Murdoch said honestly, Gillies Smirked , always smirking Murdoch thought although he did like that smirk I could have told you that my dear William. " Gillies replied, although Murdoch's brow furrowed " although how could you , a psycho , manipulative , Murderer , fall in love with me and not be all evil ......" Murdoch wondered aloud, Gillies's smirk hadn't left his face " that's the thing about love detective, it brings out the best in you ." He replied and got up and sat on Murdoch's lap and kissed him again , just like they had done on the tracks .
