It wasn't what happened, it's what followed - Gillies/Murdoch story

Day off ?

All holidays are off  including the non important ones like Valentine's Day , but do note that you have to come in the day before and after the holiday

Murdoch sat the paper on his desk , he knew he didn't have to go in to work today , but he felt lost without having to go to work " morning William " Gillies said sleepily as he walked into the living room " you don't work today ?" He added , Murdoch turned around on his stool , got up and walked over to Gillies and planted a kiss on Gillies' lips " no I don't , never have since the day I started at the station. It's wonderful but I do feel lost without having to go ." Murdoch said , Gillies smiled and nuzzled his head into The Detectives chest " mmm " gillies hummed as he did so , Murdoch was quite content in this position, then a thought occurred to him , he's never had a day off with Gillies , " would you like to do something today ? " Murdoch asked , He felt Gillies shrug " I hadn't planned on it." he replied finally pulling away to look into Murdoch's eyes " I love you." Murdoch stated , Gillies blushed slightly " I love you too , Gillies replied " detective." He added jokingly as they Hurd a knock at the door . " hello Julia ! What have you?" Murdoch exclaimed as he opened the door to see Julia Ogden standing on the doorstep " morning William, is it to early to stop by for the breakfast you offered a few days ago ?" She asked , Murdoch shook his head " goodness no. I was just about to make breakfast before you came, but Gillies had just woken up so we were talking " Murdoch explained, he took Julia's hand and lead her inside , The three ate breakfast and then went in the living room and attempted to figure out the word game in the paper , Gillies curled up beside Murdoch and Julia held the paper , they all were laughing as they guessed letters and words , Murdoch was looking forward to more days off like these to come.
