George leaned in and kissed Emily, it lasted a good few seconds before they pulled away and the guests applauded, Julia hugged Emily, then George " congratulations George! Well deserved women you have there ." Murdoch said as he gave George a brotherly hug " thank you si-" George started , Murdoch cut him off " it's William. " Murdoch stated " William . Thank you for being my best man " George said , Gillies came up and gave George a pat on the back " congratulations George. " Gillies said as Emily gave Murdoch a hug " thank you James. Can I please stick with calling you Gillies...... " George asked , Gillies nodded " can I still call you constable then ? " Gillies asked , George nodded " thank you for not killing anyone James." Emily said jokingly to Gillies , he laughed " your welcome Emily. " he replied, Murdoch took his hand in the process of Julia patting his back. " I'm really glad that William didn't have to stop the wedding to arrest you and Robert." Julia commented " why would I Julia ? I'm not that evil ." Gillies said , Murdoch laughed " calm down James. We know that you're not." He said as he pulled Gillies over to be beside him " but you are not full sane. " Perry said as he came up behind George " thanks Robert. You're so kind ." Gillies replied sarcastically" let's go get some food." George said and everyone followed to go get some food from the wedding table .
