Chapter Seven: Heal Up

Wow! I didn't think that 8 hours after I published the Sixth chapter that my goal of 30 votes for the next update would be met. So I thank you all for your support and Here is the Seventh Chapter!

Bagheera's POV

I bent down to slowly rest my head on her chest. Looking for any sign that she was still alive and breathing. When I placed my head down, I could feel slight movement and the sound of air begging to come out of her mouth. 

"(Y/n), please, be alright." I placed my head under hers a little to try and get her onto my back so we could get out of the open. 

After about 10 struggling minutes. I finally got her on my back in a way where she hopefully won't fall off. I was close to the forest when I felt (Y/n) move from on top of me. I stopped to make sure she wasn't falling, only to look her dead in the eyes and hers help shock. 

"B-Bagheera? What.... what are you doing? What happened?" She looked almost embarrassed that she was on my back. Not that there was anything to be embarrassed about.  

"Well, I am helping you to the forest so you can heal a little before we go to find Mowgli. And as for what happened to you. I am unsure. From what I see, you were fighting Shere Kan, and then were trampled by Buffalo." She made an "Oh..." face then rested her head back on my back. 

"Bagheera.... my neck really hurts." She said quietly. I looked back at her once again but this time I didn't stop walking. 

"That is because there is still an open gash around your neck. I am surprised that you can still lift your head up in the first place." I continued to look ahead of me. When we finally reached the forest I gently laid on the ground a tried to help (Y/n) off of me. 

"Bagheera.... I can't move my legs and back." She said in a panic. 

"Hold on, let me just help you to the ground, then I will have a look at you." I slid her off my back, when she hit the ground she yelped but didn't move. I looked at her worriedly. I just hope she isn't what the humans call, paralyzed from the end of her neck down. 

(Y/n)'s POV

When Bagheera put me on the ground, it hurt actually. A burning shock of pain erupted from my back paws up to my head. My whole body felt like it was on fire. I looked up at Bagheera without moving my head, only to see a very worried look on his face.

"Bagheera... what's wrong?" I personally was scared. What if one of my legs were ripped off, or I lost my tail, or worse! What if I lost half of my body!! As I look back on that thought, how can that be true? I would be dead surely. 

"I have a feeling that.. you could be paralyzed, but you felt some sort of pain. Where do you hurt?" He took a step closer to me and then sat down still staring at me. 

"Um... well.... I hurt everywhere.... but right now... my head, neck, back and legs.... but I can't feel one of them." His eye looked down at my body. I felt my face flush up a blush. Where was he looking? He stood back up and walked over to my back legs. I tried to follow him with my eyes, but I could only see so far. I saw him bend down. 

"Tell me if you feel anything." He said before he started moving his head. I didn't now what he was doing, that is until I felt a whole lot of pressure on my back left leg. I yelped in surprise and his head shot back up. 

"Well, You don't seem to be paralyzed, so that's a good sign. But we should probably fix up your neck first, that is what looks the worst right now, and then we fix your leg."
