Shere Khan's POV

When I get my hands on that boy, he is going to wish he here never born. I was on my way back to Akela's wolf pack. Rage emitted within every step I took. It wasn't long before I was running, and it wasn't long before I finally made it to that horrid pack. I could feel the fear floating in the air as I walked closer and closer to their alpha. They are so easily fooled.As the pups run inside of their den, their mother stands guard. I continue walking closer, anger and rage started to build up. (Y/n)'s scent is still al over this place, it's just a little old. I saw a dent in the ground that smelt most like her, and that black panther Bagheera. After I'm done with the man-cub, I'm coming after him. He has no right to even look at what will be, no what is mine! 

"Shere Khan. It's a pleasure." Akela says while the pack follows behind me cautiously. 

"Is the deal done?" I already knew the answer, but I wanted to hear what he had to say. I laid about 2 feet in front of him, on a ledge a bit under him. He seemed to get comfortable and hay down as well. 

"The deal is done. He is with his own kind now." He seemed to have forgotten our deal.

"I thought the deal was that you were supposed to bring the boy to me." I wasn't going to bother looking at him because I knew if I did, I would have ended up killing him. In fact, if he hadn't let (Y/n) go near that man-cub her death wouldn't have happened in the first place!

"He is no longer in this jungle anymore, so you have nothing to fear."

"And where is that Black Panther and (Y/n)? Shouldn't they be here." He paused for a minute.

"They went to go return him to the man village." He stated. And that only made me more infuriated. He sent MY (Y/n)! To a man village! SHE IS MINE! How dare he! That's when I snapped. I lunged up grabbed him by the neck, crushed it, then threw him off into the distance. If the impact of the bite didn't kill him, then the impact of the fall should have. 

"Now that I have gotten your attention. These hills are my hills. Whatever it was before that you owned is now mine. So in other words, I am your new alpha!" 

(Y/n)'s POV

I opened my eyes, only to be met with darkness. I yawned but stopped when I felt something heavy on my head. My memories from earlier popped into my head. It's only Bagheera. I started to close my eyes again, only to reopen them in a panicked state. 

I jumped up scaring Bagheera making him jump and go into a defensive position. 

"BAGHEERA!" I yelled, he quickly turned his head to me. 

"What's wrong?" He asked backing down from his previous pose. 

"WE R WASTING TIME! It's night! We were only supposed to rest for a little while!" Bagheera started to look around and his eye widened. I knew he was thinking the same thing. 

"We must go, there is no more time for resting. Come one let's go." He said running off. I tried to follow and keep up to the best of my abilities, but he was now moving so fast and my body from the 'rude awakening' left me sore and in pain. I had to push through though, for Mowgli. 

"I'm sorry- Bagheera- I--- I didn't mean to make us waste time," I said out of breath. I think hearing me in this tired state made Bagheera slow down a little.
