Quinn's POV
I feel bad for lying to Rachel about the pills, but I finally got her and some stupid addiction won't ruin this for me. Nothing will take her away from me now, she's my property.
I don't know if she's in love with me, I think she is.. She hasn't said it "Quinn, I'm in love you" but she's explained the feeling you get when you're in love with someone. Although I'm happy, I'm still craving more, more of her, I want more than just pale emotions. What more can I want though? I'm almost sure she's in love with me, I just want to hear her say it out loud.
"Quinn? Quinn, where are you?"
"In here" I said and threw the little jar of pills inside the bag.
She walked in just as I pulled the zipper of my bag so she wouldn't feel free to open it.. Both the journal and the pills were just lying in there, they weren't hidden. Even though I don't keep the journal so private anymore, there are still some things in it she isn't allowed to know about, like the pills for example.
"Will you stop hiding in here?" she said and wrapped her arms around me from behind.
It was cute, not only because she was shorter than me but because this was the first time she did this. My lips couldn't help but being formed into a moon-like figure.
"You smell like coconuts" Rachel said and laughed.
"It's your shampoo" I said and turned around.
She looked me in the eyes and took my hand and dragged me with her to the living room window, where the dark sky and city lights striked our eyes. She gave me a smouldering look and all I could do was the adore her face, her concerned, nervous, face. It was perfect.
"Look out, not at me" she said and looked out the window "I love the view"
"I love this view more" I said and turned her face so she was looking at me again.
"I'm not as beautiful as New York" Rachel said and looked down at her bare feet.
"No, you're not" I said and looked out.
Rachel didn't say anything, I knew it wasn't what she expected me to say. That's why it was funny. I grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles.
"You're more beautiful.. Comparing yourself to a city is wrong, a city is cold.. It's just lights, cars and buildings. You are warm" I whispered with my lips just one inch away from her ear.
I could feel Rachel get goosebumps on her cheek, I felt it because mine was pressed on hers. I brought my arm to her neck and stroked it as her breath hit my shoulder. It was warm, just like her.
"You love the view, let me show you something I bet you didn't know was possible at this place"
I took her hand and walked out of the apartment, I lead her to the top floor. On the corner of the floor there was a metal door that wasn't locked.
"Close your eyes" I said before I opened the door.
"Are you takin-.."
"Just close them" I said and she did.
I opened the door and slowly lead her to the center of the roof, exactly in the middle of it, right where a holicopter would choose to land if this was that kind of roof.
"It's cold, Quinn" Rachel said with her eyes still closed.
I sneaked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist with my head leaning on her shoulder.
"Open" I said.
She was breathtaken, I could notice that by her face expression and her hand gestures. She let her hand wander to mine and she squeezed it, so hard she had to apologize.
