Chapter 8

I'm sorry I haven't uploaded in a while, I was busy with school and with my new Auslly story plus I didn't know what to write for this chapter, to be honest. But here it is :)

Chapter 8

Laura's POV

Two months had passed since I got pregnant with his baby. We haven't told anyone yet, we wanted it to be a big surprise. I wasn't showing off yet so it was easy to hide.

Ross knocked at our bedroom's door and then opened it. It was so sweet of him to knock, even if it was his room as well.

Specially because he never knocked.

"Whatcha up to?" He said, jumping into the bed and making me jump a little too.

"I'm just relaxing" I pointed at the cup of tea on my nightstand "What about you, blondie?"

Ross made a face and I laughed. He's never liked the nickname.

"I have a rehearsal in three hours" he said, looking down "I was thinking how amazing it could be if you came"

He looked up and smiled at me. He was such a kid.

"I'd love to go" I said happily and he hugged me. More like smashed me against his chest to death.

"Ross" I managed to said "You're hurting me"

He let go immediately "I'm sorry" he said. Then something just hit his mind because he smiled brightly out of nowhere.

"We have to choose baby names!" He exclaimed. Seriously? It was way too soon.

"It's quite soon yet" I said "We have plenty of time to think about that"

"Yeah but I want the baby to have a cool name" he insisted "And a cool middle name. And a cool last n- oh well that's not a problem" he said and flexed his muscles.

He gave me a cocky smile and I rolled my eyes "How old are you? 5?"

Ross laughed and kissed my temple "I was just messing around"

The rehearsal was taking place in the theatre where they're going to have their next concert in a few days. It was huge and it had room for many people. Maybe too many.

Ross opened the doors for me and we saw the rest of the band standing on the stage. Stormie was sitting in the second row gesturing at the boys and Rydel.

"Maybe if you move it a little to the left..." She said, closing her eyes a little and picturing it in her head "That's it, Rocky"

Then she turned around and saw us "Laura!" She exclaimed and hugged me instantaneously. I smiled and hugged her back.

"Hi to you too, mom" Ross kissed her head and everybody laughed. He was such a kid.

"How have you been?" She asked me. She was such a wonderful woman and it was really easy to talk to her. I felt tempted to tell her about the baby, but Ross seemed to notice and he shook his head in my direction.

"I've been good" I finally said "Nothing new at all" I lied. She didn't seem to notice.

"That's great" she smiled again "Have you seen Joshua? I'm totally infatuated with the kid"

I totally believed that. Ever since Riker and Diana got married she has been sending "discrete" signals to them practically begging them to give her a grandchild. And then it was practically the same when Ross and I got married a year later. I can't really blame her.

"Ross and I babysit him the other day" I told her as we sat down next to each other "He behaved so well"

"He's an angel" Stormie agreed.
