Chapter 5

Laura rolled to the other side of the bed, expecting to hit a toned body at any second. But it didn't happen.

"Shit" Laura said as she stood up from the floor and rubbed her arm.

She climbed on the bed again and sighed. She wanted Ross back. Laura glanced at the clock and saw that it was already 8 am. Where the heck was him? He told her he would be home early and he hasn't arrived yet?

"Chill, missy" Laura told herself "Maybe he changed his mind and decided to sleep a little"

He needed a good sleep after all.

But that was so unlike him. For all she knew, he would be there already, his arms around her. But no.

She looked for her phone and saw it resting on her desk, but she thought it was too far away and let it go.

Just about when she was about to go downstairs to get something to eat, her stomach twisted and she let out a small moan.

She covered her mouth with her hand and sprinted towards the bathroom. She knelt down next to the WC and waited for it to come. She didn't wait much, though.

She was finishing throwing up when she heard her phone rang. She stood up slowly and almost crawled upstairs. She felt herself so weak.

Surprisingly, when she reached the phone the caller didn't hang up.

"Yes?" she didn't mean to whisper. It was just her voice didn't want to come out her mouth.

"Laura?" it was Ross. And he sounded worried "Are you alright? Why are you speaking like this? Did something happen?" He did sound worried.

"Ross" she managed to say with her normal voice "I'm just feeling a little sick, that's all"

"Did you throw up?" he asked, concerned.

"Yes" Laura nodded as she said so, even if he didn't see her "I've been throwing up for the past 10 minutes"

Ross didn't say anything. "Why did you call me anyways?" she asked after a while.

"Oh yeah" although she couldn't see him, she knew that he blinked and stopped day-dreaming when he said that "I called you because I'm an hour away from home. I thought you would be worried"

"I was" she confessed "but it's okay"

"I can't wait to see you" he said softly.

"I wanna hug you so bad"

Suddenly she heard Riker's voice in the back and Ross saying "ok".

"I have to help Riker with his bass" Ross said "See you really soon"

"Okay" she sighed "I love you"

"I love you too"

And with that he hung up.

She was watching tv when she heard the main door open. She jumped off the sofa and ran to the entrance. He saw Ross closing the door behind him. When he turned around, a wide smiled appeared on his mouth.

"Laura!" He laughed as she jumped into his arms. He lifted her up and spun her around, making her giggle.

"I missed you so much" she smiled down at him and pressed their foreheads together.

"I'm sure I missed you more" he pecked his lips "Guess what?"

"What?"

"They had GoGurt backstage!" he smiled and waited for her reaction.
