Chapter 14

Two chapters in less than an hour! I got a bit emotional writing this one, and I hope you like it :) It won't be the last one, but I will just write one or two more chapters. Enjoy!

Ross's POV

I ran as fast as anyone has ever ran before. From the stage to the parking lot and then I drove extremely fast to Los Angeles. I don't know how I didn't crash the car or got caught by the police, to be honest.

I fucking knew this was going to happen. I had that feeling, and of course I was right. For once I wished I wasn't.

My dad called me two hours ago telling me that Laura was in labor, and I almost fainted in the spot. I was in the middle of a concert, for crying out loud.

I went to get Riker "Dude" I called and he seemed to understand the look in my eyes or something, because he told me to leave.

"It'll be unfair if you miss this just because of a stupid concert" he said, and he looked serious.

"It's not stupid" I said "It might be our last one for a while"

"I don't care" he shook his head and then he gave me smile "Go out there and tell our fans that Laura is having your baby and that you have to leave"

"Will they understand?" It was more like a mental question, but it came out of my mouth uncontrollably.

"They're R5ers" he had a really serious look in his eyes, and I nodded. He was right. It was gonna turn out right.

I walked on the stage and told my siblings not to start playing. They all looked confused but Riker, who gave me a reassuring smile.

I grabbed the microphone "Hello, Sacramento" I said and the crowd cheered.

"I gotta ask you for something" I said, and my siblings looked confused so did the crowd "Permission to leave"

They started murmuring things, and Rocky came up to me "What the hell are you doing, bro?" He asked me, and I shook my head and spoke again.

They'll understand. They'll understand.

"My wife, Laura Marano" some of them cheered. I smiled "Is on labor"

More murmurs and cheers. I needed to get this over with, and leave "She's giving birth to our first child, Brody, and I really need to go or I'll miss it"

The crowd cheered and I was confused for a moment.

"Get the fuck outta here, Ross!" Rocky yelled through his mic and the crowd cheered more in response.

Suddenly, everyone started shouting "LEAVE, LEAVE, LEAVE" and I kind of laughed.

They were kicking me out. I smiled "I love you so much guys, what you're doing for me is priceless!" I shouted and Ellington pulled me out of the stage between cheers.

"Go, Ross" he smiled "And make sure you post a picture of the new Lynch on Twitter, huh?"

I nodded, gave him a bro hug, and left.

And that's how I ended up in the car, driving faster than anyone has ever driven before, heading to LA.

I was just 30 minutes away from the hospital when my phone went off. It was my dad.

I put it on speakers "Is everything alright?" I asked, panicked.

"Where are you?" He asked me. I rolled my eyes.

"30 minutes away. Now answer my question"

"Laura's been here for two hours, and the nurse said everything is happening quickly" he said and I started sweating.
