Chapter 10

Ross' POV

Laura's been pregnant from 5 and a half months now, and it was time to go shopping for the baby. We haven't come out with any baby names yet, but I had quite a lot in mind.

But if Laura wanted to decide it, I was totally okay with it.

Now I have another problem to think about...

"Do I really have to go?" I got up grumpy that morning, and my mood wasn't getting any better as the hours passed by.

"It's your son, Ross" she pushed me outside the house and grabbed my car keys, throwing them at me. I caught them. Ha.

"I know, I know" I walked - more like dragged my feet - toward the car and jumped in. Laura followed suit, holding her belly, which got bigger since we told everyone she was pregnant.

She was tiny, so carrying a big belly like that was like a challenge to her. I helped her in what I could, tho.

"Where are we supposed to go to?" I asked before starting the engine.

She fastened her seatbelt as quickly as she could "Baby World, I guess" she sighed and I drove off.

We were going to buy stuff for my bud. It was funny how he wasn't even born yet and he was already my buddy. I was going to have to teach him lots of things, starting by walking. I pictured that in my head, and I had the feeling that was gonna be fun.

About the bet Laura and I settled when we found out she was pregnant, I was winning. She was really stressed out because she couldn't move properly because of her big belly, but I wasn't reminding her about the bet. I just helped her out, I'll get my prize eventually.

When we pulled on the parking lot of Baby World, I noticed it was heck of a big building. I immediately got stressed out, I've never enjoyed shopping, not even for me. But I tried to hide my burden just for her.

We got inside the shop, and she looked really excited. I looked around, trying to understand her excitement, but man, all I saw there were clothes, clothes, clothes oh, and did I mention clothes?

"Aren't those cute?" Laura held a really small pajamas on her hands and showed them to me, grinning like a kid would on a candy shop.

It was actually cute: it was yellow (my favorite color) and it had a print of a red guitar.

"This is totally cool!" I said truthfully "I like the guitar and all, but isn't it too small?"

Laura gave me a look "It's my baby, what we are talking about here" I pointed to my feet and then to my head, showing her how freaking tall I was. She laughed.

"Okay, okay" she smiled "We'll get a bigger size"

She picked a bigger size and we continued with out shopping session. I picked out some cool tee shirts I found, most of them were music-themed or had an airplane on it. Laura just rolled her eyes every time I thew one of those in the cart.

I kissed her forehead and gave her a side hug "I think we have enough clothes" I said, looking at our completely filled up shopping cart "I mean, he's gonna grow up"

"Dont even start with that" Laura warned me, pretending she was sad. I laughed.

"Come on, don't be so dramatic" I smirked "Let's get some toys"

I always got really excited when I was a kid and my parents took me to the toys store, and that habit was still running thru my veins. I wanted to buy everything: trains, airplanes, dinosaurs, these cool electronic drums...
