I glare over the cliff for a few moments. That vampire has been out for my Pine Tree since he got here. At least he won't be coming around anymore.

I look at Dipper who seems rather shocked by what has just taken place. I see the two fang marks that the bloodsucker left on my Pine Tree and mutter a curse under my breath.

"Damn vampires," I mumble as I tear the sleeve of my shirt and hold it over the bleeding areas on his neck. "Keep the pressure on until the bleeding stops. You should be fine."

Dipper does as I instruct him to but still has a look of shock on his face. This was probably not how he wanted to spend his Summerween, but at least he won't be spending it in a grave.

"Y-You saved me," he says after a moment.

The heat in my face suddenly increases. Saving people is not something that I normally do. Normally I am torturing people until they beg for the sweet relief of death. Why then did I have the urge to save Pine Tree?

I play it off and glance back at the cliff. "Well, it's not like I can have some thirsty bloodsucker eating my Pine Tree, now can I?"

Even in the dark, I see his face flush a light red color. I can't help but smirk from his reaction.

'Pine Tree is so cute when he gets flustered.~'

I wrap my arm around Dipper's shoulders. His skin feels like ice and he's shivering. The night has grown cold rather quickly, but I feel that it is not just the temperature that is making him feel the chills.

"Let's get you home now, Pine Tree. This Summerween has had its fun with you."

He nods as I begin to walk him towards the Mystery Shack. I can tell that he is beginning to warm up as we get closer. It gets warmer as we get farther into town.

Finally, we are right outside the Mystery Shack. The protective charm placed on it before Weirdmageddon still keeps me out. I could not enter even if I wanted to. But if Dipper changed even one thing I would be able to go in with him. It wouldn't be difficult.

"What was that thing? Why did it attack me?" Dipper asks from the porch of the Mystery Shack.

"It was a vampire, but I took care of it. You'll be fine by tomorrow. You will not become a vampire unless it transfers its blood into your own. Luckily I didn't give it that chance," I tell him, figuring he has the right to know what attacked him.

He rubs his neck where he was bitten and sighs. I can tell that this was not the night he had wanted. I would attempt to make it better with some fun tricks, but Pine Tree has probably had his fill for the night.

"Thank you for saving me, Bill. Good night," he says softly while entering the place I cannot go.

"See you soon my little Pine Tree."
