Chapter 6 - Bonding with Angel

Yui's POV

A another month has passed and I am grateful to these girls even Angel, who is in the same class as me, she stands up to me when it comes girls who like to bully me alot, I founded out that The Takumis are quite popular in school, and they are well respected, so I'm happy I have them as my friends.

I was on my way to room until I heard a beautiful singing voice, I decided to find out what it was. I followed the voice and I saw a girl sitting on the balcony singing 'Scarborough Fair', the song that Kanato-kun always sings. I realised who it was. It was Angel.

"Angel so it was you who was singing?" I asked Angel, as she turned to look at me. "Oh hi Yui yeah it was me." "You have a beautiful voice Angel, I'm sorry to bother you"

"No it's okay and thanks" She got off the balcony, she was holding her puppy, Snowy who was sleeping in Angel's arms, "I sing this song for Snowy because she likes this song, it calms her down when she gets nightmares" She smiled at her puppy. "Hey Yui, I am about to go the kitchen and bake a cake, do you wanna help?" She asked polity and I nodded. "Great meet me in the kitchen, I am going to put Snowy to her bed" I nodded.

I made my way to kitchen and I ended up about how she knew that song. Did Kanato-kun taught her that song? I kept thinking about it as I waited for Angel to come back.

Angel came back in a few minutes, "Here I am Yui, so I have wanted to bake a plain cake with strawberries on top with white topping. So you can help me make the white topping while I bake the cake, okay?" She smiled and I nodded agreeing.

I started to make white topping with sugar and butter while Angel was baking the cake. A few later Angel was finished, she place the cake in oven and we have to wait for 15-20 minutes. I finished with the white topping. As we were waiting we started talking.

"Angel how did you know that song, cause because Kanato-kun likes to sing that song?" I asked her. Angel look down and smiled, "That's because Kanato-kun taught me how to sing it and he even sung it to me one time even Snowy likes it when he sings it, Snowy likes Kanto-kun"

"Oh really? I guess you were close to Kanato and his teddy?" She nodded at me, "Yep I guess you could say that I am in love with Kanato-kun"

"In love with him?! Really?" I was shocked but happy. She nodded blushing, "Yep I've been in love with Kanato since we were kids. He was such a really nice boy to me, he even lets me hold his teddy anytime I get scared. I remember when I fell in love with him. You see Yui when we were kids, every time I go to visit Kanato-kun, his bad mother would make us sing for her since she said I have a beautiful voice like Kanato-kun does. It made me hate his mother for making Kanato-kun just a singer to her. He said it doesn't bother him but I know he's lying."

"Oh I see but how did you knew you loved him?" I asked.

"Well it was a night time and he and his brothers came to visit my sisters and myself, it was raining and thunder came off, I used to be scared to thunder, I would hide under my covers on my bed and just cry. But I stopped being afraid when Kanato-kun came to my room and saw me hiding and crying being scared. He handed me over his teddy and said it's okay smiling at me, I took his teddy and cuddling to his teddy and I felt him hugging me and started 'Scarbough fair' to me, I didn't ask him or told him to sing but he wanted to, it made me relised that I was in love with Kanato-kun" Angel was smiling the whole time. It was time for the cake to come out, she took the cake and started to finish it.

"Oh Angel that was beautiful, I could tell that you liked Kanato-kun cause I have seen you with him all the time in class" I giggled and she giggled

"Well Yui, a little birdie told that you love Ayato-kun" I was blushing red, "H-How did you-*sighs*Miya told you didn't she" "Yep she told us all of us, you shouldn't keep this a secret Yui, I think it's kind of cute that you like him, I felt bad for him as kid, I mean his mother would never let him play with his brothers, always abusing him, I'm glad you care about him"

"Y-Yeah thanks Angel, well I'll be here to support you and your feelings and I hope you get Kanato-kun at the end"

She smiled and gave me a hugged, "Aw thanks Yui and I will support you too and I hope you get Ayato-kun at the end too"

We both laughed and share cake with each other
