Chapter 9- Happy.

**HAYES' POV**

I walked into Nash and I's room and plopped myself on the bed. Good thing he was at the beach so I could be alone. I screwed up so bad down there and possibly ruined a whole relationship. Cameron was right, she's completely happy without me so why can't I just let her be.

I could hear doors opening and closing and then some muttering but I couldn't tell what they were saying. I poked my head out of the door without anybody seeing and I saw Shiane go into Taylor's room. I sighed and shut the door, throwing myself onto the bed once again.

"I hope this gets better." I whispered to myself.

I grabbed my phone from my deep pocket and turned it on. I only had a few messages from my mom and Nash but I just ignored them. I went through twitter and was looking through some tweets and my mentions. Nothing really exciting came up so I went onto Shiane's page.

@Shiane_Dallas: Wtf just happened in literally so confused..

I know that the tweet was supposed to be directed to Taylor and I. I just really hope they work it out and I can plead for their forgiveness. I love the both of them and I wouldn't want to lose them over something so stupid.

I looked through some more tweets on her page and then went to Taylor's page. He had no tweets from today at all, which is really weird for him. I sighed. Knowing that this is all my fault makes me feel like such a douche bag. It's a horrible feeling, really.

**SHIANE'S POV**

Taylor and I got home at about 7:30. We had a lot of fun at dinner.

I walked through the front door and into the cold house. Nobody was anywhere to be found so I went to the kitchen to see if there was any notes. I found one on a purple piece of paper, taped to the fridge. I walked I've to it and peeled it off.

"LoveBirds,

Hope you had fun at dinner!

We all left to meet Nash and

Carter at the beach.

We should be home in about

Two hours.

Hayes is up in his room.

Hope you and Taylor are

Alright. Know that we love you

Both so much and we're happy.

I read out loud. Then a pair of arms wrapped around me from behind. I knew exactly who it was so I didn't even bother to look, just planted a big smile on my face.

I looked down at the bottom of the note and noticed that I forgot a piece.

"P.S. Use protection please." I mumbled, rolling my eyes. I'm thirteen.

Taylor just burst out laughing behind me and I couldn't help but laugh too, his is contagious.

He spun me around in his arms and hugged me tightly. I hugged him back just as much and smiled. He then picked me up and started walking so I wrapped my legs around his waist and looked at him.

"We're going to watch a movie." He smiled. I kissed his cheek and we proceeded walking up the stairs. He walked into my room and threw me onto my bed. I was laughing my ass off.

"Get ready." He laughed and walked out the door.

I grabbed a pair of shorts and a t-shirt and went to the bathroom and slipped them on. Then I wiped off my makeup and put my hair into a messy bun. I looked so bad and I couldn't help but laugh at myself about it.

When I was all done, I walked back into my room and grabbed my phone. I then walked into the hallways and was on my way to Taylor's room when I heard a door open. I looked around to see Hayes standing there awkwardly. I turned around and crossed my arms.

"Hi." He said softly. I just stood there and looked at him with no sympathy. He could have easily destroyed Taylor and I's relationship and I really don't want to talk about it until tomorrow.

"Can you please come in here so I can talk to you?" He asked. I looked over at Taylor's room and the door was still shut.

"I guess I have some time." I muttered. He nodded and opened his door to let me in. We both walked in and he shut the door behind us. We both sat on his bed and I was waiting for him to speak up.

"So..this morning." He started. I just looked at him. "I'm sorry, Shiane. I didn't mean to do it! I was just so caught up in the moment and I couldn't stop myself. You just looked so pretty that I couldn't help it." He said. I was confused.

"Wait, Hayes. You like me?" I said, not sure if I was supposed to. He looked up and me and nodded slowly, then putting his head in his hands.

"That's why I did it. But really, Shiane. I was trying to stop it but my body was telling me to go for it so I just did it." He said. I placed my hand on his back. He looked up at me with sympathy. "I'm sorry." He said. I nodded my head.

"It's alright. But you just have to know that I'm happy with Taylor. I'm not leaving you or anything! You can still be my best friend and everything. Just not my boyfriend. Do you get it?" I asked. He turned his frown into a smile and nodded happily. I held out my arms for him to give me a hug but he never did. He just sat there like he was afraid to. I rolled my eyes and giggled. "You can give me a hug, you know." I laughed. He then pulled me into his arms.

When we let go he smiled at me and said thank you. I waved as I walked out the door and back into the hallway. I shut it behind me and started back towards Taylor's room. I walked in and he was lying in bed. He looked over at me and smiled. I walked over to the bed and got in next to him. I decided to text Cameron.

To: Bruderrr💙🙈

Hey Cammy:) I just wanted to tell you that dinner went okay and Hayes and I made up. I'm in Taylor's room to watch a movie and btw, we aren't fucking so don't even say anything. I love you!

I clicked send and set my phone down on Taylor's dresser. I looked up and him and he kissed my cheek. I smiled and cuddled up to him.

We were watching the movie and the only thing I could think about was..what are Taylor and I? I literally have no clue if we are dating or not. I just couldn't stop thinking about it so after about an hour of watching the moving I rolled over to face him. He looked at me, waiting for me to say something.

"Tay.." I trailed off. He looked at me patiently. "What are we..?" I asked. He looked caught off guard so I regretted saying anything in the first place. But, he took my hand in his and smiled really wide. I wasn't expecting that at all to be honest.

"Well, since you asked, Shiane, will you be my girlfriend?" He smiled. I couldn't find my words so I just crashed our lips together. Our lips moved in sync and it was just amazing. When we pulled away we were both trying to catch out breaths. He looked over at me and smiled. "Was that I yes?" He smirked. I blushed and nodded. He pulled me close to him and I fell asleep in his arms, right where I wanted to be.
