Author's Note

First of all,  I would like to thank my dear friends @Shinrayuki42 who wrote most of the SPG part and Sarajae who drew Adam and Elisha. Enjoy!

Adam snuggled to his bear closer when his alarm rang loudly. For the past few days, he regained his appetite, and today, he was more excited to go to grad school. Besides, Elisha promised that she was going to school. He took the quickest bath he has ever had in his life. After that, he picked the polo shirt and dress pants he bought last night, not forgetting to cut the price tag off it.

He polished his shoes, cleaned his glasses and styled his hair neatly.

Glancing at the nearby mirror, he sighed. Why was he making an effort anyway? He was feeling stupid.

He was so early that the guards just shifted for the day. Upon arriving at school, he entered his office and quickly made an short quiz for his students. It didn't mean that he was absent for a week that he softened.

He printed the necessary papers on time when the classroom seats began filling up. Through the glass window, he caught sight of the woman he held close to his heart. He almost gasped with her attire. Why the hell was she wearing skirts right now?

Elisha winked at him before entering his office.

"Hi, Sir," she smiled mischievously.

He rolled his eyes. "Good morning."

"Sir, can I borrow your jacket or coat or something? I'm so cold right now!" she complained, but he knew she was just up to something.

He pointed at his shelf. "Cover your skin too. You're in a school."

"Aww," she cooed. "You're so sweet, Kyrone."

"Whatever you say. Just go back to your seat," he said in dismissal.

"I love you, Kyrone."

After the first bell rang, the class stood up to greet him. He noticed there were a lot of students in the room compared to last time. He muttered his greetings before the students took their seats.

"I have to apologize for my absence last week," he said. "I've been through some personal problems that cause my health to deteriorate, but right now, I am perfectly fine. I hope that during the past week, you have already read the lessons supposedly tackled by that time. However, since I was absent, I will discuss it today. The quiz today is bookish is nature, since I am going to be a little considerate this time. You are given five minutes to review."

The student gasped and began reading frantically. It made Adam smirk internally. From his peripheral vision, he saw Elisha approaching him.

"Sir, I have to apologize that I have been absent for a month. However, I would like to make it up," she said with a smile.

"Meet me after class," he told her.

She winked at him and went back to her seat. She was now wearing his jacket. He even saw her sniffing its scent!

He can't wait for after class, for he had an idea in mind to make her stay with him longer than she expected.

Elisha was already plotting ways to make Adam hers from this day onwards. She listened earnestly to his lessons. She really loved his passion for teaching. He was doing a great job at it. She almost flunked the test, but thankfully, Isabelle had supplied her with some info before the quiz. She passed it with flying colors.
