Chapter 18

Harry's POV

Melissa plan was a great one with the packs coming together as one and joining one land of territory, it was a great way to take on the rogues problem we was all having. We couldn't understand why the rogues had started to kill pack members after all these years, yet we was going to get to the bottom of it one way or the other.

We had two alphas and their packs on each side of the territory, as for my own in the middle of the territory. We had over 5 pack warriors from each pack patrolling each side of the territory, we was all working together and getting along great.

We had sent out some of our best trackers to see if any scents from the rogues could be picked up, turns out that a group of our trackers, tracked down a group of them in Connors old territory. They must of settled they after Melissa and the pack moved here, out next mover was now to keep an eye on them to make sure they caused no problems.

Another group of rogues had been spotted just on the outta line of my old territory, they was all hidden in a barn that my mothers father used to own. So far we had news on two groups of over 20 rogues in each, the only thing left to do was find out why they was going on a killing spree and killing pack members.

"Alpha we have a problem" Paul my beta says coming in.

"What is it"

"A group of teenagers have gone missing, they parents said they can't reach them in the pack link" 

"Shit" I swore under my breath, how could they have gone missing the mall is well guarded.

"When was this"

"It's happened early today, Emily's mum said they was meant to be back by 4, when she didn't turn up she started mind linking the other parents to see if she was there, it was then that the parents knew something was up, specially when they couldn't mind link with the girls themselves"

"Get our trackers to where they was last seen, I want them girls found" I shouted as I hit the wall next to me. How did they get into the territory without been seen, we had upto 9 packs on one territory and a group of girls have gone missing.

After a few hours Melissa walks into my office coming over to myself and bring her arms around me, instantly calming me and my wolf down.

Having Melissa as my mate I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have her, she was everything to me. She made my world so much brighter than anyone else, it wasn't just the mate bond. I loved Melissa ever since I set eyes on her, that day my parents found her in the park, she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. I couldn't believe how strong she had become within two years, going through everything she has and yet she stands tall holding her head up high.

"Better" Mel asked bringing me out my thoughts

"Much thanks you"

"Your welcome, now come the trackers are back and have the girls, they found them at the old cabin on your fathers old territory" how could I forget about that and what more how come the trackers didn't find anyone there earlier.

As we walk out the pack house all the trackers are back from hunting the girls down, I see four different wolfs from the other packs carrying four girls, when I looked closer I saw it was the four girls that had gone missing.

"How many was there" I asked using my alpha tone

"There was a group of 10 waiting over the girls, they have been injected with wolfsbane. We think there was trying to get information out of the girls"

"What information" I asked just as James Melissa beta come out of the woods.

"They wanted information on why all the packs are coming together" I watch as James snares at the rogue been grabbed out the woods by two of the betas from the other packs.

"Take him to the cells" I say just as the other alphas turn up wondering how the search went and what the next steps are.

The rogue was taken away to the cells and the girls taken to the pack doctor. Me and the alphas made our way to the meeting room so we can come up with a plan of action, we need to deal with the rogues and fast.

"So what's the plan" alpha Sean asked.

"Melissa she is talking to the rogue in the cell as we speak, we will find out what they are planning, then we will take it from there" I say all stressed out and just wanting to end the matter at hand.

"How do we know Melissa will get any answers. We know of her powers but what makes you think the rogue will talk" alpha Timmy asks this time.

"Mel is good at getting answers, she can see straight through lies and can read minds, no one knows of this apart from myself, although you all know as of now. Melissa is a weapon to end the rogues once and for all" I say as I run my hands down my face, she will kill me for telling the alphas but they need peace of mind.

"Alpha Harry, don't mind me asking but how are you sure that she is the one"

"Because I'm the moon goddess daughter, thats why. My father was the beta of Dark moon pack, my mother was the moon goddess, I was born to protect all packs from evil, I was born to make this place a better one for our kind." I couldn't help the smile that spread on my face as I watch my mate stand tall from the door way, I couldn't help but let the feeling of proudness come of me in waves.

"How is the possible"

"Do I have to show you" she asked.

"Please enlighten us" he did not just say that.

I watch as Melissa changed her normal form into a total different form. Her hair changes from her brown hair to a white glowing hair flowing down her back, wings spread out from her back as her clothes changed from jeans and top to a white Long dress that flows out as the bottom, her eyes glow white and all around her glows even whiter. She was indeed a goddess.
