Chapter 27

Melissa's POV

A year on

Over the last year everything as come along better than we had hoped, Harry and myself are fully mated to each other. Not only that we are expecting our first baby together, we also got married a few months back. It was the best day of my life, we said our vows on the beach with all our family and friends. My brother even gave Harry his full blessing.

My brother and myself also built a bond, which by the way is stronger now than it was before hand. His mate Sara is like a sister I never had, we do everything girly together, she is always my rock whenever I need her.

As for the pack well what started as two packs coming together as one, we are all now one big happy family. You wouldn't think that we was two different packs, from when we first put them together. The first few months was hard for us all to adjust, yet we all got through it with the help of each other.

I also learned more about myself as the daughter of the moon goddess, let's just say I can control whatever power I like. I also learned I can heal people or bring them back to life, where as my mother she can only pair mates now that she as passed on.

Anyways right now I'm getting ready to go for a scan, Harry wants to make sure everything is ok. Even though alpha females pregnancy last up to three months, Harry also wants to find out want we are having. I would rather wait  until the baby is born, even though deep down I would love a girl.

"Hey princess, you ready?" Harry says hugging me from behind.

"As I'll ever be" I turn round and bring his lips to my own, feeling the sparks run throughout my body as we touch.

We both walk out our bedroom and make our way towards the pack hospital. Which Harry had built for when the pack gets injured, or when females were pregnant like myself. We couldn't let the humans find out about us, so this was the best way to stop them from finding out.

When we get to the hospital, we make our way towards the ultrasound room.  Where the doctor does all her scans and makes sure everything is going as if should. Harry and me enter a room which is only made for the alpha female, as we wait I lay on the bed and get comfortable.

"Alpha, Luna thank you for your wait" the Dr frankly says as she enters our room.

"It's no problem" says Harry

"I see your already Luna, so would you like to see your baby and find out the gender" she says with a smile.

"We would love to" Harry says although I could hit him right now.

"Actually I would like it to be a surprise" I say as Harry gives me pouting face.

"Ok well let's take a look" she gets to work by putting gel on my belly and the rolling the thing around. I look at the screen watching with pure love, as a picture of my baby comes on the screen. I feel my eyes tear up as all I could do was watch my baby, I feel Harry take my hand and squeeze it. As I look at Harry, I see the tears in his eyes as he watching the screen.

"Well the baby looks healthy and I would say you due in the next few weeks" the doctor says as she hands me tissues to wipe my belly.

After cleaning myself up and throwing the tissue in the bin, we thank the doctor and make our way back to the pack house.

I have to say I couldn't be more happier than I am right now, the only down side to all this is, I wish my mother could be here. I wish she could see how truly happy I am and how much her little girl as grown up over the years. I know that deep down she would be so proud of me, she would be proud of the strong independent woman I have become. She was always proud of me and loved everything I did, so did my father. I really wish they was both here today, but I know that they are both looking down on me. Both watching me  each and every day, just knowing that makes me smile.

"So how did it go" say Sara as she come out the pack house with my brother.

"Everything is fine, the baby is healthy and should be due in a few weeks" I say while giving her a hug.

"Well we have a surprise for the both of you"y brother says as he take my hand and leads the way. We walk up the stairs to the alphas floor, coming to a door next to our room.

"Ok close your eyes" Sara say, we both do and hear the door been opened. I'm pulled into the room by Sara, I hear my brother pull Harry in with him.

"Ok open" as I open my eyes, I looked around the room. I can't believe what I am seeing, in front of me was a baby's nursery. My brother and Sara had transformed the spare room, everything was a cream colour. In the room a crib, rocking chair, changing table you name it and it was all there.

I couldn't believe that they had gone to a this trouble, I loved what they had done with the room. I hug the dear life out of my brother, then do the same with Sara.

"Omg, thank you both so much" I say then turn to Harry, who by the way looked shell shocked they had done all this.

"How" is all he asked.

"Well do you remember all them time you was training, then Melissa was out with the girls. We took that as a chance to do this, wasn't easy but with help we managed" she's Sara.

"Thank you,thank you,thank you" I say jumping in my brothers arms again. I couldn't be more thankful, as a year ago I thought my brother was dead. Now his here doing all this for me and making up for what happened by doing all this things.

I loved my brother more than anything and I couldn't be more grateful that his a live, standing by my side watching me  grow and what more watching me become a mother myself.
