"Who the fuck are you?" I ask him.
"Jordan." He replies.
"Well Jordan, you didn't have to be so rough." I snap, pulling up my tank top a little at the bottom where a red mark is from his shoulder.
"Actually I did, you're pretty damn strong."
"Only when I'm mad." I mutter.
"You could say thank you." He says.
"Why would I thank you? I was about to beat that bitch into next week."
"You hurt her much more and you'd be expelled." Jordan says.
"Trust me, once you get to know me you'll wish I got expelled." I reply.
"Why's that?" He scoffs.
"You're a jock, I hate jocks." I answer.
"For the record, I'm nothing like Brandon." Jordan states.
"For the record, I don't care. All jocks are the same." I reply.
"How?"
"You bought me here, alone. Well guess what, you've probably heard I'm easy because I arranged to meet up with Brandon but I had no intention of showing up. I'm not easy at all, I'm probably one of the hardest people to get."
"I bought you here alone so that no one else could rile you up, nothing else." Jordan answer.
"Whatever." I sigh, walking past him.
"Where are you going?" He asks, following me.
"To make sure Amelia left that red head alone." I reply.
"Wait." He says, grabbing my wrist and pulling me to a stop. "Why do you hate Amelia so much?"
"I hate cheerleaders."
"Who do you like?" He laughs.
"People who aren't rude, womanisers or straight up bullies and bitches." I answer. "Can I go now?" I ask, looking down at my wrist.
"Sure." He sighs, letting me go. "And Hayley."
"What?"
"Some of us aren't as bad as you think." He replies. "Maybe you should let some of us on to your good side."
I'm silent for a second before replying. "I don't have a good side."
With that said I return to Jason, Val, Harris and Reggie to see that Amelia and the others have left. "Well that was intense." Jason says.
"Don't even start." I sigh.
"I didn't say anything." He says, holding his hands up in a surrendering way.
"I for one am glad." Reggie says. "She needed telling and if violence is what it took for her to hear it them I'm glad."
"Thank you."
"I guess." Val says.
"C'mon Val, quit being such a nice girl." I laugh.
"Let's just head to class guys." She smiles, giving in.
"You know you're going to get into trouble for this, right?" Harris asks.
"Of course." I reply. "But I've been in trouble for worse."
The bell rings powerfully through the halls, causing a moment of silence before people begin heading to class.
Arriving in tech I find my seat which happens to be close to Jordan. "I see Principal Gordon hasn't caught up with you yet?"
"What do you care?" I ask in a sharp tone.
"I know you may find this hard to believe but I'm just being nice."
"Sure." I scoffed. "People aren't nice in this world anymore. It's a simple case of kill or be killed, screw others over or be screwed over."
"I cannot wait to prove you wrong." He smirks. "What are you so afraid of?"
"As kids we fear everything but as we grow up that fear goes away, but does it really? We all fear something. Me however, I don't fear anything." I explain.
"I think that's a lie."
"And I think you're stupid."
