Luckily, I remember my way there and as I walk up the driveway I notice no car which either means no ones here or just Jordan is here, maybe with his bitchy sister.
Knocking twice on the door it swings open with a shocked Jordan stood behind it. "Never thought I'd see you here again." He says.
"Neither did I." I sigh.
Jordan looks down at my bags then up at my face again. "Why are you here exactly?"
"I need a place to stay." I reply. "And don't flatter yourself, you were my last option."
"Have you been to Brandon's house? Josh's house? Carters house? I know you've been hanging around with him a lot lately."
"No." I reply.
"Therefore I am not your last option."
"I don't know where they live." I retort, crossing my arms. "But I'd rather stay with you than Brandon so congratulations you are my second to last option."
"As long as I'm not last." He laughs, stepping aside and presenting the inside of his house to me.
"You're letting me stay?" I question.
"Why do you sound so surprised?"
"Jocks are douches, they don't do favours for people without getting something in return." I answer.
"Then once again I'm proving you wrong." Jordan smirks. "No come in before I shut the door."
Obediently, I walk inside. "So why aren't you staying at Val's place?" He asks.
"Everyone thinks I killed Lauren in cold blood." I reply.
"She believes that?" Jordan questions, sounding rather shocked.
"No you moron but her parents do." I answer.
"You're calling me a moron when you're staying in my house?" He questions.
I'm silent for a second before replying. "Looks like it."
"This way." Jordan chuckles, leading me up the stairs and into his room.
"For a boy I expected a messier room." I state.
"Well looks like I'm proving two of your stereotypes wrong then." Jordan laughs, taking my bag and putting it on his bed. "Can I ask what happened when you left?"
"I was waiting for that." I sigh.
"You don't have to-"
"I left with Carter, Quinn and Hunter. We went to some biker bar which Hunter's dad owns. We just stayed there and drank a little, that's it." I explain. "Hunter's family invited me into their little rough group, I rejected and got Carter to drive me home. Then Andy told me everything."
"Oh."
"Disappointed there isn't more gossip?" I question in a sour tone.
"No." He replies. "But if you didn't kill Lauren and it wasn't one of them then we have a murderer walking around."
"You know jockface, that's a great example of two plus two." I say.
"Jockface?"
"Figured it'd be a good name." I laugh. "So, where's the she-devil?"
"Shopping with my mom." Jordan replies. "I'm going to order some pizza, you want some?"
"Ham and pineapple." I reply with a smile.
"You got it." He says, leaving the room with his phone.
For the rest of the night Jordan and I eat pizza and watch some movies. "Do people at school really think I was the one that killed Lauren?" I question.
"I don't think anyone truly believes it." He replies. "It's just happens that the one day you skive someone turns up dead. Very coincidental."
"Well that's all it is. A coincident."
"I know." He says. "Lets head to bed, it's getting late."
"Alright."
I change into some pyjamas in the bathroom and Jordan changes in his bedroom. "I made a bed up on the couch of you." Jordan says, pointing to the sofa in his room.
"I'm the guest, I should get the bed." I argue.
"Alright." He scoffs, walking over to the sofa.
"Wait," I sigh, pulling his arm. "Now I feel bad."
"What do you want then?" He questions.
I'm quiet for a moment, which is rare for me. What do I really want? "You." I reply boldly, stepping forward and kissing him.
