"She has a child, Rohit. She has a fucking child. That's not possible." Virat hissed. He couldn't believe this had happened.

To him. To them.

"Virat, she told it to you. What more do you need to believe it? She's married and she has a child." Rohit told him making Virat shake his head.

"I need to talk to her. I don't care how..I need to." Virat mumbled.

He had to explain himself. He had to do something. For four years he had been thinking that one day, he will explain her everything. That couldn't be sabotaged now.

"And what are you gonna say huh? Are you gonna say sorry Eira. I'm still in love with you?" Rohit questioned. He was frustrated with his friend too. How dumb was Virat being? What was the point of going after a girl that had moved on already? Couldn't he just forget her?

Was that so damn hard?

"No, I'm just gonna tell her why I did what I had to do." Virat replied and poured himself a glass of whiskey.

Rohit chuckled and gave a sarcastic response. "And she'll say it's alright and you'll be bestfriends."

Virat took a deep breath and gulped down the whiskey down his throat. He looked at Rohit and then looked down again.

"Rohit. Look, when I saw her..for a minute it felt like I had gotten my life back. That the light that was missing is back again. I have to see her again."

He told him, trying to explain his side of the story. Without Eira, he felt like he was just surviving. Not living. And it was crazy, to feel that way.

He hated the men who would just change because of a girl or remain hung up over past love, and yet here he was, he never even realised that he had became one of them.

Rohit clasped Virat's shoulder.

"Virat, you've already done enough damage." He told him.

"I've been damaged too, Rohit. Why do people forget that?"
