I Mumble?!

Starring Jack and Dawn

*Dawn wakes up in the middle of the night. She had a nightmare about Jack getting badly hurt and decides it'd be best to go check on him while in her cat form*...

Dawn: *As a cat, goes upstairs and enters the bedroom hall*... *Thinks*... Jack, please be okay. That dream was too real... *Walks to Jack's door at the end of the hall and returns to her hybrid form*. Here goes nothing... *Opens the door*...
Jack: *Asleep in his bed*...
Dawn: *Whispers*... Good, he's okay.
Jack: *Sounds like he's mumbling something*...
Dawn: Hm?... *Silently goes over to him*...
Jack: *He's talking in his sleep*... Mm... Dawn, be careful... Don't get too close to it... It looks dangerous...
Dawn: *Whispers*. Is he dreaming about me?
Jack: Hm... We gotta... Get home anyway... It'll be dark soon... The monsters will come out...
Dawn: He is... I wonder what the dream is about.
Jack: I know it was... Just a flower... But, some flowers are dangerous...
Dawn: I should leave him be. *Leaves the room and closes the door behind her*.

*In The Morning*...

Dawn: *Sitting on the living room couch*...
Jack: *Comes into the room and sits next to her*. *Yawns*... Morning, Dawn.
Dawn: Good morning, Jack. Have a nice sleep?
Jack: Yeah, I just really feel the need to be with you today. I had an odd dream last night, you were in it.
Dawn: I heard.
Jack: What do you mean by "heard"?
Dawn: I had a nightmare and went into your room as a result. You were mumbling in your sleep.
Jack: I mumble?! What did I say?
Dawn: Something about me and a dangerous flower. You also said it would be dark soon and we should head home.
Jack: That was my dream... Does this also mean that you were watching me sleep?...
Dawn: Uhm, I guess? Kinda? Okay, yeah.
Jack: *Blushes*... Hm...
Dawn: Why are you blushing?
Jack: No reason...
Dawn: Is it because I had a nightmare and came to you for it. But instead of doing that, I just watched you sleep like an actual cat would? *:3*.
Jack: Maybe... *Blushing intensifies*...
Dawn: *Stares at him with a grin on her face*...
Jack: Dawn, plz.
Dawn: *Staring intensifies*... Hehe...
Jack: This is gonna be a long day...
