Starring Walden and Anne

*Anne is in her bedroom on the night of a rain storm. Thunder is booming and lightning is flashing. She goes about her night until she hears the sound of knocking on her window*.

Anne: What's that knocking? *Goes over to her window and opens the curtains to see Walden frantically knocking on the window*. Walden?...
Walden: ANNE!!! I'M IN TROUBLE OPEN THE WINDOW, PLEASE!!! *Looks to be in a state of panic*.
Anne: *Opens the window as Walden jumps inside*. What is it?! Why are you in trouble?! *Quickly shuts the window and goes over to Walden*. And how did you even get up here?
Walden: *He's completely soaked with rain water*. I-I climbed up. But, h-hunters! They f-found me after so many years! They're shooting at me and they chased me here! They're outside, now.
Anne: Hunters? As in hunters with guns?
Walden: Yes! Don't you hear them out there?!
Anne: Uh... No, actually I don't. *The thunder booms outside as the lightning flashes*.
Walden: There! It's them! *Back away from the window and against a wall behind him*.
Anne: Ooh! You mean that? That's just thunder and lightning from the storm.
Walden: Thunder and lightning? What's that?
Anne: It's part of the weather. It can't hurt you. *The thunder booms and the lightning flashes*.
Walden: *His body tenses up in fear as his breathing quickens*.
Anne: You're scared of it, huh?
Walden: *Nods his head*... It's scary... *Shivers from the cold rain water all over him*...
Anne: *Holds out her hand to help him up*. You must be cold. Take off your jacket and scarf. I'll get you a blanket to wrap up in.
Walden: *Takes her hand and stands up*. Okay... *Let's go of her hand as he begins to remove his jacket*.
Anne: *Goes into her closet and takes out a soft gray blanket*. This looks like a warm one. *Goes back to Walden*. I found you a blanket.
Walden: *His jacket is on the floor next to him, but he still has his scarf on*...
Anne: Hehe. Walden, you still have your scarf on. It's clearly soaked.
Walden: I never take this off. Never.
Anne: Okay, anyway here's the blanket. *Hands it to him*.
Walden: *Wraps himself in the blanket*. It's soft.
Anne: *Sits down on her bed*. Come here, sit next to me.
Walden: *Sits next to her on the bed*... *The thunder booms and the lightning flashes*... *Starts whining like a little puppy in fear*...
Anne: Shh, it's okay. *Embraces him in a hug*. I'm here, I'll protect you.
Walden: *His body relaxes as he stops whining*...
Anne: There you go, just relax. It's only rain.
Walden: *Gets so relaxed to the point he slowly and gently lays his head down on Anne's lap*...
Anne: *Smiles as she scratches behind Walden's ears*.
Walden: *He smiles as his tail wags*... Hmm...
Anne: You can stay with me until the rain stops.

The End.
