(Hiccups POV)

I realize that the viking I saved the dragon from was actually my dad.  He looks up at me with pure hatred. I land, watching the dragon fly off. I turn around to see my father charging at me.

Great.

Over the years I guess you could say that I have became extremely skilled in combat. Let's just say that Berk wasn't the only island that claimed me to be their enemy. I had quite a bit of scars and bruises.

My dad took his hammer and aimed for my head, I ducked in just enough time, making the momentum of my dad trip over me. His hammer slid far away from him, with a grunt of frustration, he got up, and grabbed his sword. He swung the sword over his head, I slide under his legs, the sword gets stuck in the ground, and I hook my foot around my dad's leg; tripping him. He hit the ground with a thud. I look up and see that there has been a crowd gathered around us. My father still down, I us this time to get away.

I do one last perimeter around Berk. Most of the dragons have left by now, so I start to head home. Toothless and I are flying, taking in yet another successful raid. I look down at the blissful ocean and I spot a boat. It looks empty, deserted, and ...familiar. I look at the sail, that's a ship from Berk! I go and land on the deck, I look around, then I notice something that makes me want to gasp.

(Astrids POV)

After the darkness takes over me, I start to see things, I start to dream:

I was in the cove that Hiccup was taken in. I'm laying sprawled out on the grass. My hair is braided, as usual, I'm wearing my everyday red tunic, cloth pants, leather skirt, and armor. I'm laying there so peacefully, so happy. The longing for Hiccup is still there, but it feels more like good memories instead of memories I try to forget. I'm laying there deep in thought, then I hear a twig snap right next to me. I jerk my head to the side, and see...Hiccup! I jump up and just stare at him. He looks, different. His hair is no longer flat against his head, it is now tussled. His eyes are more emerald green than ever. He grew taller than the last time I saw him. He is wearing a green cloth shirt, a pair of greenish cloth pants, a dark brown boot, and one of the peg legs that I've seen Gobber make for him. I look back up at his face and well let's just say, he's.....grown up. I then realize I'm just staring at him. He does his famous awkward laugh while scratching/rubbing the back of his neck. His voice is deeper than I remeber, but extremely familiar. I walk up and hug him. He too returns the hug. My head burried into his chest and his head resting on top of mine.As we are hugging I whisper: I've missed you. All he says is: Astrid, I never left. I look back up at him with a questioning look. He answers by saying: Astrid, you will see me again, in this same exact dream, but right now, you need to try to wake up. He unwrapped his hands from around my waist and set them on my shoulders: no time for questions, you need to wake up, now!

The dream fades, but I'm still surrounded in total darkness. Then I hear creaking of wood, a thud, a slight gasp, then I feel arms wrap around me. That's when I lost all of my senses and fell completely unconscious.

I see a familiar axe next to a familiar girl. Astrid is tied to the mast of the ship, and unconscious. I quickly untie her and decided to do something that would put my secret identity on the line, but I had to. I had to take Astrid home with me, I couldn't just leave her out here. I put her in my arms, Mount Toothless, and we head for home.  As soon as we get home I take her to my room and set her on my bed. I cover her up in blankets, it gets fairly cool in these caves at this hour. I then go set her axe next to her and head to the cave room I cook in. I prepare a soothing fish stew for her and some fresh bread. Once I'm done, I walk back to my room, go to the foot of the bed and set the food down on a ledge next to me. My face and uper torso are hidden in the shadows, while the rest of my body is completely out in the open. I lean against the wall, cross my feet, and take off my helmet. Moments later Astrid starts to stir in her sleep, meaning that she is going to wake up soon.

I start coming to my scenses and I slowly flutter my eyes open. I look around and find that I'm in a bed. The bed is in a cave room, a desk next to the bed, and I suddenly notice that someone is in the room. Their face and upper body is hidden in the shadows, but I don't need to see that to know who he is. The Unknown Enemy.  I sit up quickly and wince as my head is shooting with pain.

"Morning sunshine." He's says.

I look at my axe next to me and say,"You'd think that you would have kept me unarmed."

He's slips his helmet on, steps out of the shadows, and offers me food while saying" Well last time I checked I saved you, let you use my bed, and now I'm offering you food."

I took the food and thanked him. "Try to take it easy."
I nodded and fought the urge to jump up and take off his helmet.
