Easter, a beautiful holiday that has to do with Jesus, or God, or.......whatever.
Josh was going through everything that was going on that week/weekend.
Josh's POV
Today was Tuesday and Friday is a special Friday, and I have no idea why its special.Something about God and Jesus and stuff. Yeah, call me a bad person for not reading the Bible cover to cover.
I was almost home and my stomach dropped as I day dreamed about going home and my mom asking me a million drunken questions.
Easter, why was Easter so important anyway? When I was little, about 11 years old, my grandma and I would go to church on Easter Sunday and afterwards meet up with my dad and we would go out to eat.
But sadly, my dad died and that's when my mother started drinking non stop and my grandma stopped coming around.
But, I try to forget that, it's not important anymore anyway.
Tyler's POV
My crying drowned out my moms fists banging on my door.
Confusion was an awful feeling. It swirled around my head, around my room, around my body, it ate me.Confusion swirled around my eyes and my mouth, my lips, making them shake and tremble.
"Tyler!" My mom was screaming and banging on my door. Finally she broke the door off the hinges and it came crashing down.
I buried my face in my pillow and violently shook my head. "Tyler," my mom said amd grabbed me, forcing me to sit up.
"What's wrong honey? What happened?" She asked soothingly. I shook my head.
"Oh honey," she said and pulled me closer to her. "We can't be having this anymore, sweetheart, the police are on there way, I want to help."
"Mom?" My brother asked from the door. "Oh, I'll talk to you guys in a minute, stay right here, Tyler," my mom said and got up.
I sniffed and one minute I was uo calming myself down and another I was sleeping peacefully.
Josh's POV
My house is a pale yellow color with a bunch of weeds in the front yard. No one ever does any gardening, as you can tell.
As I approached my front door I thought about the best way to go inside. Option one, just walk in casually option two, go in as quietly as possible and option three, dont go in at all.
Option three sounded really good so I simply turned around. I walked down the steps and approached the yard. I breathed in and my stomach dropped.
"Joshua William Dun," my mom yelled from the door. "Come in right now." I sighed heavily and turned back around slowly.
