An alarm clock goes off. God I don't feel like getting up. The bed is so cumfy. I just let it beep its full five minutes.
Susie is snuggled up on me. Her arm around me. Mine around her. Shes sound asleep on my arm. I move my fingers and I accidentally grab her butt.
Time to get up. I lift her head with my free hand and gently put it down on. My feet touch the cold floor sending a shiver up my spine. I made myself a pot of coffee. Put on my Drako military uniform for the mission. This time I hope they don't jump me.
"Geez I feelrusty as all hell." I say to myself sitting on the couch. My coffee beside me.
"Incoming call from Professor Bonny." The TV jumps to life.
"Answer." I tell it to where it can hear me.
Bon comes on the screen and looks well rested surprisingly. "I got the masks for your mission. Lets hope the ghouls don't eat you and your team alive. I swear to god War Tech killed these people on purpose. So many humans lost do to greed." She says disappointed. "Ok I gave you Higson, Marlev, Jenkins, Hiro, and Tam. They will accompany you to the vault and help and help you find the Gorosis. That should help your brother wake up at full strength to accompany on missions."
"Thank you commander. You have so many titles I honestly think you practically train the soldiers yourself."
Bon grins. "Ow, stop." trying to keep from laughter. "At first I did. But now they are hardwired or trained by lieutenants. These are newbies that haven't been in a fight in their life. Show them how a real soldier looks."
"Thank you. It will be an honor to escort and teach a squad for you." Getting up to bow.
"No problem. Meet me in the courtyard in thirty minutes. There's a chopper to drop you off at your assignment. On the down side we can't support you or Susie with any new wepons. For now on you get paid and buy your own. All troops who have been given a wepon can keep it. We need the rest for newer soldiers. The reason why is do to a lack of resources."
"Thanks for the update. I hope you get your supply up soon." I say going to make some waffles.
"Me too. I have to go. Eat a lot its going to be a long day." Bonny says rattling around on her desktop. "Bye."
The TV says call dropped again and goes blank.
I go to the bedroom to wake up Susie. As I barg in I get flashed. She's taking her tank top off.
This ain't the first time I've been flashed. I was at a friends house and lets just say it was amazing. She died though. Hunters broke into her home and put a bullet in her head. Whole family.
Susie stares at me blankly with her shirt in the floor. Then she covers her tits with her arms crossed. "Um....can you not stare at them....im self conscious about people looking." She starts blushing bad.
"I was just coming to wake you up." I say trying to avert my eyes. Then I close the door.
Holy shit. Why didn't she freak out. Clearly this isn't her first time for people seeing her stuff. Atleast she didn't throw a book or lamp.
My waffles pop up. Pulling them out onto the. Four in total, I put four in for Su. I sit down beside the fridge which is by the stove. Tiny place but good decor.
Susie comes out into view with her uniform on. Sitting beside me she stares at me. "I dont care what you saw. When do we leave for the mission?"
"In about twenty five minutes. All the times she's giving us." I tell her with a mouth full.
Her food popped up out of the toaster and she jumped right to it.
"Ill be ready in ten. Gotta find and clean my wepons." Susie says running into the room.
