Susie and her team had cleared the first floor. It didn't take long at all. They swept through like a tornado. Some parts of the covered in thick black blood. Now it looked like she was making a gothic glow factory.
As they were going up the stairs Susie saw a skeleton sitting uo against the wall. It had a stack of papers scattered around him. Glasses sit there drooping drown a little.A flash came and it revealed the man trying to organize his papers frantically. He was about twenty-six short black hait with thin lips. He was wearing a black business suit with everything. Even a briefcase sat against th wall.
All if the sudden some lights flickered on. A song joined in.
I don't want to set the world on fire. It played through the entire building. It echoed over the intercom.
Ince at the stop their were cubicles lined up and scattered everywhere. Skeletons with cloths, old blood, and stained paper work littered like the place had gone bust.
Susie indicated five men take each row. Her and Hiro spirit on opposite sides. They turned off their lights. In the middle they stayed on. Soon flashes of lights flickered in the room. The silencers comsealed most of the sound.
A spittered crawled out into the aisle directly infront of her. She didn't stop. Going by she kicked its head right off the shoulder's. It bounced down like a ball. She got irritated with the mask and hooked it to her belt. The flashes beat her left and right. Trying to focus on what around she smashed a window.
The glass broke into glass diamonds. Falling out along with a skeleton in a ruined rollie chair. Once it hit the bottom it bounced onto the razor wire. A man looked up at her.
"Sorry." Is all she said and disappeared.Fighting the fumes in the building Susie rushed out into an executive office. Inside a man sat behind a desk looking like he was laughing hysterically. Nothing but sad sacks on this floor.
"Check the rest of the rooms and wait for me at the stairs." Susie ordered going through the desk not knowing the reason.
Coming out the whole unit was standing there waiting. Having a nice little chat about something completely irrelevant to the job at hand.
"Ready when you are boss. Nothing on this floor. Doubt there'll be anything on the ones after." Hiro said looking around out the windows.
"There will be. I can hear them rummaging around talking quietly in my head." Said so having another attack. "Lets put these lost souls down evicting this place to make our own."
"Damn straight boss. Couldn't have it any other way." He giggled with a smile.
"Instead if chatting around lets get our ass up stairs then." Pier said kicking at the dirt. He lead the way up with his light dancing through the dust particle's.
It was the same routine. Each executive for each floor. Same corpes. The smell of decay. An old timey song play with very little to kill.
