On Wednesdays We Hug

"So what now?" Finn asked.

"We are hiring my mom's divorce attorney. The woman hasn't lost a case in ten years." Baby said. "We're suing the guy so hard that his grandchildren will still owe Everest money."

"My cousin said she got other girls to come forward and say that they were raped by him." I told the girls. "I wasn't his first prey. Apparently the whole let-me-help-you-with-that-stain routine is famous around there."

Scorpio sighed. "This better be a good goddamn lawyer, St. Lawrence. If this guy walks—"

"He won't walk." Baby said, and then turned to me. "But I still think we should castrate him."

I smiled and caressed his cheek. "Too messy, love."

"You're doing the right thing." Harley said seriously. "You were lucky you knew what to do, but you weren't the first and you won't be the last."

I nodded.

"What did Juliet say?" Bennet asked.

"She had no idea." I said. "She called her ex who was friends with Aspen. He didn't know anything about that either. She was shocked and angry, of coarse."

"Well I'm sorry that had to happen in the first place." Arcadia said. "I'm so sorry, Eve."

"It's fine. I handled it." I said. "Still, I am not letting that guy go free if it's the last thing I do. I won't let him invade my sister's bodies anymore."

"That won't happen. We will all make sure of it." Scorpio said, frowning.

Suddenly, quick knocks on the door.

"I'll get it." Baby offered, and stood up to answer the door.

"Everest." Cleo breathed out, and ran towards me to hug me so tight I had a hard time breathing. "Holy shit you scared the hell out of me!" She said.

Baby gestured at Scorpio, who received the body language message and kissed Finn's forehead and stood up from the couch.

Baby and Scorpio both stood beside the opened door.

"We'll leave you guys to it." Baby said.

"I'll see you guys next Wednesday." Scorpio said, and walked out the door.

I sent Baby an air kiss, "I'll text you."

"Make it dirty." He winked, and closed the door behind him.

"Well, welcome the fuck back." Said Finn to Cleo.

"It was about damn time, Alexander." Arcadia told Cleo.

Cleo smiled. "I just want a hug." She said to us, and we all stood up and hugged our prodigal sister.
