It was 11:14PM when Finn and Scorpio arrived at Finn's place.
She carelessly threw her purse on the couch and let her jacket on top of the dining table in the living room.
She went straight to the kitchen and opened the fridge.
Scorpio simply followed his little hurricane and as she distractedly glanced over her chocolate ice-cream he embraced his arms around her hips and kissed her neck, which made her open up a feline grin.
"It's late," he said.
She moaned and closed the fridge. "I know, I know." She said, recognizing she should go to bed instead of diving into the ice-cream.
She turned towards him; her eyes feeling too heavy to stay awake.
She kissed the tip of his nose and he smirked because he was too tired to smile.
They held hands, turned off the lights and headed to her room.
She changed into a cute pijama set of a thin silky baby pink top and short shorts that matched.
He simply slept in his boxers.
As he brushed his teeth, she took off her make up, and as she brushed her teeth, he checked his phone. When they both laid on her bed, she checked her phone, while he simply admired her do so.
Their routine was like a very well rehearsed pa-de-deux. This kind of synchrony and connection was something to be studied, truly. It couldn't be rehearsed or learned; it was one of those rare cases in which their souls were in perfect harmony, and although they had no idea of this, they were yet to discover how hard it is to find your soulmate and let him go.
She checked her last social media and then turned her phone off. They snuggled under the covers in her toasty warm bed as it started to rain thunderstorm outside, and the raindrops protested against silence beating on her window restlessly.
Finn and Scorpio enjoyed it, though. The sound would only make them sleep better.
Although she would never admit it, sometimes Finn would fear the strong sound of Zeus's weapons ripping the sky in the middle of the night, when she was all alone in her room. But it was immensely hard to fear anything when Scorpio was beside her; it felt silly for her to think that Scorpio couldn't protect her of whatever it was that this sick sad world had in store for her. She had Scorpio, and that was her advantage. The trick up her sleeve, her wildcard; and neither Zeus nor any other god ever could ever overcome the power of what she felt for him.
As they spooned and snuggled and Finn was already half-asleep thinking about how this was a perfect ending to a tiring day, Scorpio whispered, "Finn,"
She smiled, "Scorpio,"
"What do you think about moving in together?" He whispered, like he were revealing a secret.
Her heart sunk; her eyes widened.
She tried to remain composed. "Honey, it's been less than two months." She told him. "Don't you think it might be a little too early?" He didn't reply right away, and it hurt her to think that she had hurt him. "Can we talk about this tomorrow? I'm so tired..."
He kissed her forehead, "Sure, baby."
And then neither one of them fell asleep, but both pretended to do so.

In the morning, they were estranged from one another, but pretended they just didn't remember the conversation.
He woke up earlier and started making breakfast for the both of them. She woke up about fifteen minutes later, and stomped into the kitchen while she yawned.
