Stoick
It has been a week since that boy and his creature left Berk. It has been quite a surprise for all of Berk.
Gobber looks at me, "You really banished him? Stoick, he's just fifteen years old. He knew the risks of the village."
I scoffed, "Gobber, you really don't realize what he almost did?!? His actions were not accepted in our ways!"
Gobber said, "You really don't realize that Hayden designed that saddle and tail on that black Night Fury? I was kind of impressed of his ideas."
I said, "So, what if he makes inventions? His inventions were never worked out as it been for us."
"You been concerned more about yourself and you didn't see what your son has been through these past years." He said, trying to prove his point.
Winter came and everyone in the village stayed inside for keeping outside the cold.
The teens looked directly at me as if I did something wrong then continued their conversation.
Did I do the right thing for Berk? By banishing Hayden out of the tribe.
Ingrid
I noticed a boy and his dragon were unconious from the lighting bolt. I decided to let them into my village, Dragon Paradise.
My name is Ingrid the Brave, daughter to the Chief, Tames.
As I waited, I looked at the black Dragon.
I never seen a Dragon like this before.
The boy woke up and exclaimed, "Toothless!"
Toothless, the Dragon quickly steps up and runs towards him.
"Toothless, are you all right? I was worried." The boy said, then looked at his surrounds as if he never seen them before.
"Uh... where am I?" He asked me.
"You and Toothless are completely safe here. I'm Ingrid the Brave. And you are?"
The Boy thought for a moment.
Hayden
Ingrid asks for my name. Should I tell her the truth that I am now an outcast? No, I can't tell her that yet.
That is when it hit me. The name that the other teens used to tease me with when I was in Berk.
I replied, "My name is Hiccup."
"Well, Hiccup, I would show you around if you like." Ingrid said.
I nodded with her help as Toothless and I looked in shock that Dragons actually lived here!
"You seemed surprised." Ingrid chuckles.
"Uh, yeah! I thought that all villages hate Dragons." I replied as I followed her through the village.
"Dragon Paradise is a peaceful village. My father never like fighting these dragons and decided to co-exist with them. Learning all about them and training them."
"Oh. I see." I said, listening of the history of the village.
I looked at Toothless's tail.
"Is there any Blacksmith shop in Dragon Paradise?" I asked, "Toothless needs a new tail and tail rod in order to fly." I explained of his condition.
"We do. My father is running it as he is the Chief here as well."
I just made a conversation with the Chief's daughter? Man, that's embarrassing.
"Dad! Um, this is Hiccup. He was wondering if he could do something here in the shop."
"Well, you know how to maintain this?" Her Dad asks.
"I can, sir. Where I come from, I'm a Blacksmith. I need to make a tail and tail rod for my Dragon." I said.
The Chief was stunned to see Toothless.
"Your Dragon is a Night Fury?!? I read it in books in our library but never seen one up close before."
I said, "About that... I kind of shot him down by accident."
"Oh, well, you and Toothless are welcome to stay." He said.
I thought to myself, "It looks like I found my new home."
