Tames
Ingrid told me of Hiccup's situation and I had to agree with her. Hiccup seems too overwhelmed of coming back to his original home, and he doesn't want to be someone that forces to be something he's not.
I walked to Berk's Great Hall, where I see Stoick reassuring the villagers that everything would be fine.
"You got a lot of responsibilities, Stoick." I said, and the Chief of Berk seems to be surprised of my sudden appearance.
"Tames! You scared me. I didn't know you were there." Stoick replied.
"I really need to talk to you, Stoick." I said to the Berkian Chief who look confused of my words.
"What you mean, Tames? Is there something wrong?" He asks me.
I rolled my eyes at the Chief, "Yeah, Ingrid told me that you had a little chat with Hiccup."
"Oh. She did, huh?" Stoick seems a little bit embarrassed of the situation.
"Oh, yeah. I know that you wanted everything the way you wanted to be, but what about what Hiccup wanted?
He really seems quite happy living in Dragon Paradise and being with his friends." I explained.
Stoick said, "But he is the Heir of Berk! Someday I wouldn't be here and he needs to learn how to handle being a Chief."
"I understand that, but you really have to stop thinking about yourself, but think of others like Hiccup is with the others."
Hiccup was there, helping other kids with their injuries, "There, you'll be back in shape in no time."
"Thanks, Hayden." A girl said. He shook the girl's head, "Just call me Hiccup, and who knows? I might teach you how to sword fight and train a dragon on your own."
"Really? I can really have my own dragon someday?"
"Someday, but for now, take it easy." He laughs and continue doing rounds.
"He's different from what you expected, isn't? Maybe you really have to learn more about him more than you realize, Stoick Haddock." I said.
He sighs, "How can I, Tames? He really hates me for what I've done, and it looks like he doesn't consider me his father anymore."
"Maybe you should listen to him." I advise him.
Hiccup
I was just doing rounds on the Berkian children, tendering their injuries from the battle.
It felt like I was back in Dragon Paradise, helping those in need.
I also thought about my encounter of my mother yesterday. It was indeed a surprise but maybe I should talk to her and learn more about her life with Dragons.
Toothless follows my lead and we went back to where it began our friendship, the Cove.
I looked around the area, and felt the cool breeze, like I never left it.
"Hayden?" A voice asked. I immediately knew who it was.
I turned around and it was my mom with Cloudjumper, who Toothless decides to play with.
"Mom." I said. Saying that word for the first time seem awkward, mostly because I just reunite with her in sixteen years.
"Hayden, what's wrong?" She asks.
