Ingrid

As I walked through Berk, it seems unfair that Stoick banished his own son. It seems so peaceful and it's so uncanny that it was a killing village for Dragons.

I decided to walked through the Cove to clear my mind about becoming the next Chief of Dragon Paradise.

Astrid and Hiccup seemed to like the idea of me becoming the Chief, but to me, I'm not entirely sure.

Sly sensed that we weren't alone as I thought it would be and I instantly drew out my sword from my waist to protect myself.

"Hey, easy, sweetheart. I'm not a threat." A woman said.

She looks like Hiccup, but much wiser.

Sly went curiously towards her as I said, "Sly! Be careful!"

"Your Titan Nightmare wouldn't be hurt by me. I love dragons as long I can remember."

"Oh, I see. Who are you?"

She said, "Well, has Hiccup told you anything about his past since you know him?"

I know that Stoick and Hiccup didn't have a good father-son relationship since the banishment, but he never mentioned his own...

That is when it hit me, like a thunderbolt coming from the heavens.

"You.. You're Hiccup's... mother."

She smiled, "Yes, I am indeed his mother. My name is Valka Haddock."

"You already met my Titan Nightmare, Sly. I'm Ingrid the Brave, daughter of Chief Tames of Dragon Paradise." I introduce myself.

"Oh, you're Ingrid! Hiccup told me all about you and your tribe when we met." Valka exclaims happily.

I was in total shock of how Hiccup told her who I was.

"He did?" I asked.

"He's very concerned about you. I can see why that he considers you as his friend."

"He is more than a friend, more like a brother figure." I said, rubbing my head in embarrassment.

Valka

It seems to be a total surprise that I would meet Ingrid. Hiccup is so lucky to have someone looking after him for sixteen years.

Ingrid sat on the ledge as our dragons play with one other.

"So, why did you come here, my dear?" I asked the young Viking.

Ingrid said, "I needed to think about something. Tames wanted me to become the next Chief of the tribe."

I said, "That's great! I'm sure your father would be so proud of his girl grow up."

"That's the thing, Valka. I'm not sure if I'm ready to become one. Hiccup said that he liked the idea as my father, but I just wanted to slow down a bit."

"Ingrid, I know a great Chiefness if I see one, and I think that you have great potential as a leader. You will know when the right time to become a Chiefness."

"You really think so?" Ingrid asks.

I laughed at the young girl's curiosity.

"I know you will, Ingrid." I replied, giving her a smile.

She smiles back, and said, "Thanks, Valka, I think it's great that Hiccup has a wise mother."

Hiccup

Astrid and I sat on the ledge of the woods.

"Are you ok, Astrid?" I asked.

"Yeah, I guess. It's still surprise to me that you changed over a year." She replies.

I said, "You know, during the year I was in Dragon Paradise, I often think of you."

She blushes, "Really? I thought that you didn't like living on Berk."

"I'm still not use of seeing all of you again, especially Stoick. What he did when he banish me, it broke our bond. I used to look up to him, thinking that he would be a great Chieftain and father, but he threw it all away."

She took my hand and looks directly into my eyes

She took my hand and looks directly into my eyes. "Hiccup, you have to kinder that relationship with him. You really can't the past hold your judgement for you."

I asked with a surprise and confused look, "Since when you start giving some advice? I never seen that side of you before."

Astrid said, "Well, I guess that I learnt it from you. Seeing what you done for Berk and defending for what is right. I guess that I should thank you."

I blushed, "Awe, Astrid, I-I really don't know what to say."

She said, "You really don't have to say anything."

She places her head on my shoulder and said, "I really missed you, Hiccup Haddock. More you know."

I know that she told me in Dragon Paradise that she loves me now I realize I really do love her!

How come it took me a year to realize that I love her? Maybe it was I was actually afraid of falling in love.

I reached towards her and then I surprise her with something we both never forget.

As we kissed, it was all too good to be true, until someone said, "Awe, now that's cute!"

As we kissed, it was all too good to be true, until someone said, "Awe, now that's cute!"

We quickly grew apart as we saw someone we didn't know.

I said, "Who are you?"

The mysterious person pulled me away from Astrid as she yells, "Toothless! Stormfly!"

Both of the dragons came at her call but the person said, "Make one move, you'll wouldn't see him again."

"Astrid, go find help. Train Dagur to get his dragon and get help from Ingrid and Tames." I said to the girl of my dreams.

"No, Hiccup, I lost you once, I wouldn't lose you again!" Astrid said, trying to save me, but Toothless blocked her way, knowing that I would be fine and they run from us.

"Well, this is going to be interesting." He said as he gags me and ties me up and we sail away from Beskerian Isle.
