Spud got up from the conference room table.
"I'll talk to him..." He stated sadly, "maybe I can talk some sense into him."
But the second Spud walked in, he knew he'd made a mistake coming alone.... Tate's wife.... Sat at the head of the table
"Hello Spud", she said ominously, "I see you've met my husband."
"Your HUSBAND is my little brother, and you have no right to be controlling his mind".
The women was unnerved... "How does he know?" She thought, "No way, no way he could know, he's guessing!" She sighed in relief.... she knew what would happen
"If Spud were to free Tate's mind... All I've worked for... All the trouble and time... Wasted... He mustn't know about this..."
She fingered the charm on her neck
"He'll never get this, he'll never break the spell."
