Spud knew what was happening
"It's that dang pendant.... She's obviously using it to control Tate.... He has a matching one!" He thought...
Spud grabbed for the pendant but she was to quick, she dodged with a narrow margin and quickly stood.
"How does he know?" She thought, "there's no way on Potane he could know....
"Spoot!" She yelled, "I should've brought Tate!"
"Not today" Spud said as he blasted her out the door, "he's free of your tyranny."
As she fell to her death, her only thought was.. "well... That could've gone better.
