"Come in!" A male voice said.
"Sir, I have the final report for Phase 1." Said a woman as she entered the room.
"Ahh Helena. My faithful scientist. Tell me, what are the results?" The man asked.
"The subjects are ready for Phase 2. But we lost 5 of them. May I choose from the second batch?" Helena wondered.
"Who did we lose?" He angrily asked.
"We lost Aiden Ruth, our head technician. Alexander Higgins, the detective who was following the murder of the Summers. Marie Louise Smith, daughter to one of our head chemical scientists. Joshua Mathew, the attorney that declined to work in our favor and Lydia Casanova, your daughter." She answered.
"You're telling me, my daughter died?" He got up from his chair. "One less mouth to feed. My wife will be so sad to hear this. But, if you need to pick from the second batch, feel free."
"Very well sir." She bowed and headed to the door.
"Helena!" Her boss called. "Did you send the prizes to the Subjects?"
"Yes sir. They should arrive on their respective residences in a week."
"Good. You're dismissed."
