Nikki's POV
I stare at him from the corner of my eye - he looks beautiful: his eyes sparkling and the sun shining on his hair.
I could watch him forever and never get bored.
"Nikki hon, did your t-shirt from the garbage?" says MacKenzie and puts on like 100 layers of her new "Cherry Burst Long-Lasting Lipgloss".
"Please MacKenzie can you not think of better insults, because that one is getting really old", I reply rolling my eyes.
"Whatever dork", she says and sashays away.
"Thanks for the compliment, I'm a dork and I'm proud of it!" I call after her.
"Oh hey umm.. Nikki, I was wondering if you wanted to come and help me in Fuzzy Friends after school today? I mean I understand if you don't but I was just wondering", says Brandon as he comes up to me.
"No problem Brandon I'll be there", I reply.
Aww man I can't stop blushing, I must look like a complete fool, but I can't control it because he's just so beautiful.
"Thanks Nikki you are the best,I really appreciate it",says Brandon and squeezes my hand.
"Any day Brandon", I blush like crazy, BRANDON JUST SQEEZED MY HAND SQUEEEEE!!!
"Look, I got to go to class, I'll see you later", says Brandon.
"B-Bye", I stutter and head off to English class.
Brandon's POV
Nikki is coming over to help me out in Fuzzy Friends today!!!
I'm so happy I can't stop smiling,
I ACTUALLY SQUEEZED NIKKI'S HAND!!!
The day goes back really slowly
and I find it really hard to concentrate on anything that my teachers are saying. "Blah,blah ratio, 1999 , apostrophe, push-ups, homework, essay, books, test, blah, blah, yadeeyadeeyada, cornflakes, toothpaste,vaccum cleaner, tap-dancing, decimals."
Then finally the bell rings and then it's time for my last class.
I check my schedule BIOLOGY YES!!! I only like biology because Nikki is my partner. I literally sprint down the corridor to biology class.
Nikki is standing by the door "Wow boy what's the rush?",
I just blush and she giggles,
her giggles are so cute!
We walk into class together and she starts talking about something, but I just look at her and nod not listening.
She looks so beautiful in her white t-shirt and purple skirt, and her hair is curled and looks so perfect.
"Earth to Brandon, Brandon, BRANDON!"
"What?" I snap out of it.
"I was saying that we have band practice at my house tomorrow at 4 p.m. so you better be there.
"Yeah, I'll be there"
"You better be Hunky Dory"
"Oh shut up Nikkolette"
"Brandon Roberts you did not!"
"You bet I did"
She pushes me and I fall,
"Sweet dreams", she says and I laugh.
I stand up and tickle her,
"Stop, please, Brandon no!" she screams.
"Fine", I say and then we both just stand there blushing awkwardly.
Just then our biology teacher comes in and starts the lesson.
It's like really boring revision of stuff we already learned.
Then finally the last bell rings.
Nikki and I walk to Fuzzy Friends together.
There is a really awkward silence and then out of the blue Nikki starts laughing and I join in though neither of us know what we are laughing at.
I shove her and she shoves back, she is pretty strong because I fall straight on someone's lawn.
She giggles and I pick her up bridal style and I can't believe how light she.
"Brandon!" she screams.
"And drop" I scare her and she holds on to my neck not to fall and looks into my eyes and I look into hers. "You know, we are a beautiful thing", I say and she stares at me shocked, she is blushing really hard, then she laughs and touches my nose with her finger "Yes Hunky Dory, yes we are, we are a beautiful thing..."
