Chapter 5

He was here he followed me here. Maybe he was some psyco that wanted to kill me in public. I bet he had a gun. It would be Christmas Eve all over agian. I had to do something but I was frozen there. All I could think about was the different senarios that could happen in the next few minutes. He turned and I could tell he saw me. Our eyes meet and I started to shake with fear. I could feel my heart rate go up and my legs felt like Jello.

"Evera! Evera!" Someone called I couldn't respond. I was still frozen. "What's wrong with her?" It was Derek. I knew he was in front of me but all I could see was the man behind him.

"Something's scaring her. I can't see what it is." Alex siad.

"She got like that last night. She siad she saw him." Kat siad.

"Who the stalker?" Sydney asked.

"Who else Syd?" Lex told her sarcastily.

"Evera talk to me is he here?" Derek asked. I stayed silent. Finally I forced my self to say something.

"He's here," I pionted behind Derek," Over there." All at once thier heads turned and I hoped they saw him. But before they all looked he was gone. He dissapered. No one could move that fast. Unless he isn't human. I blinked and I tried to calm myself. Slowly my heart slowed and my shaking stopped. All my friends looked at me. "Did you see him?" I asked even though i knew the answer.

Alex shook her head, "No one's there. Are you sure you aren't seeing things?"

"Yes i'm sure i would never lie about this stuff."

"Well if you see him tell us. Okay?" I nodded. "Okay now let's go and do something. The horse bucking starts soon. We should see that." Everyone nodded and started to walk away. Derek tried to leave with them.

I pulled him back. "Oh no you don't remember our deal?"

"Please come one I don't want you out of my site."

"Well if I'm at the gates wiating for you is that okay?"

"I guess." He siad a little sadness in his voice. I rolled my eyes and pulled him into a kiss. We stood there kissing for another ten seconds until i pulled away.

"How about now?" He nodded and we walked to where he had to wait. I stood with my friends who all pretended that they didn't see us kissing. "I know you guys saw."

"You didn't even see us. How could you have known?" Lex asked.

"I don't know I can just feel it from your minds. Like I how i can tell the woman that just came behind us has a huge turkey leg." They looked behind and I looked to just to make sure I was right. I was.

"Okay that was just a coincadence."

"Alright how about the rider up now. He is going to get off propusfuly cause he hates doing this." All my friends watched intently. Frankly I knew I was right. I wasn't phsyic but I ever scince the accident I was slowly reading peoples minds. at first it was just a buzz of emotions of the people near me. But soon I could feel the emotions of people all around me and read the minds of those close to me. I knew it got stronger everytime I used it. Seeing the cowboy jump off his horse distracted me.

"Ev you're physic."

"No. I just have good intuition."

"Next up in the ring we have Derek Williams. The horse accompanying him is Torturer." The MC announced.
