Misunderstandings and Giving Up

Kisa's POV

*Ding Ding.* Was all I heard. "Ugh... where am I?" I look around, only to see my face on the floor. I'm still in Emerald? How long was I out for? Is there any paperwork for me! I sigh in relief to see that my desk was paperless. Normally if you sleep on the job in front of Takano-san, he would give you a lot, and I mean a lot of paper work to make up for lost time.

It was finally the end of the cycle and thanks to that two hour nap, I feel refreshed and my senses come back to me. I definitely need a bath. Sleeping on the floor is not as comfortable as sleeping on a bed. Wait...when was the last time I slept on one again? Whatever. I slowly began to rise up on my feet after my crash. "Eh...where is everyone...?" Still half asleep, I try to get up on my feet. Nothing but the sight of blurry pictures fill my eyes. I should really give my body some energy, I mean I'm so hungry right now. When was the last time I ate? 

I reach up to grab the desk. This helps me regain m strength. I finally stood on both my feet only to notice my email was opened. I thought I closed it out. The windows that covered my laptop's screen were now being closed until I noticed a new message. Wait, when did Yukina send me this email? I read the email to myself and noticed that he was going to have some free time after his shift. I look back at the clock, then back to the email. "Gah! This email was two hours ago! Why the heck did I have to sleep!?"

I quickly cleaned up my area and grabbed my stuff. That is still a huge mess but I have tomorrow to clean it. I then ran out the area and headed for the elevator. Finally have the time to see Yukina, although I can't show him how happy I am. I blush slightly at the thought. My vision still a bit sluggish, I didn't notice the two people in front of me as I smashed into them. 

"Oh my god! Eh...I'm sorry! What do I do! Here let me help you up!" After my panick attack and mental breakdown, my vision became clearer as I noticed who I bumped into. I noticed it was none other than my boss, Takano. I stare with a smile of disbelief. "Takano...are you...okay?" I ask him shakingly knowing he would yell at me. My body was much to fradgile to take his yelling in. Not the paper work!

"Yeah. I am fine be more careful next time. Now get the hell out of here! I'm busy." He tells me in an impateient tone. "Yes Sir! I'm sorry sir! I'll be more careful next time sir!" I was already late to meet up with Yukina that I had the thought that he already left for home. He would still wait for me, right?

I decided to call him heading straight for the elevator. Is he going to pick up? He's probably still doing his shift or something. Looking down at my phone, being careless in so many ways, again, I crashed into another set of people. What is up with me! I thought I already recovered from my sluggish body! I fell, as well as the others in the elevator. "I'm sorry! Please forgive me! I wasn't looking!" I was on my knees this time, apologizing, knowing I didn't have the strength to get up on my own.

I heard an all to familiar laugh along with the laugh of someone else. "Are you running away from someone as well?" I look up to see Onodera laughing at me. I'm so glad I ran into someone I knew wouldn't kill me. But, what did he mean by that? And who's he? I turn my head to face the person beside him. He was rubbing his head, swaying locks of chocolate-colored hair back and fourth. He also had the same shade of eye color as Onodera. Are they related? Nah. I push that thought aside as he starts to speak to me.

"Don't apoligize! It was my fault for not moving out of the way. Please let me help you up!" He jumps up and holds out two hands. Does he think he could hoist us up both. Although he doesn't seem strong, he used all his energy and strength to hoist us both up. He was the same height as me. At least I won't be the only short one here in this company. I wonder if he's new. "I'm Misaki Takahashi. Nice to meet you."
