Eggs and Editing

Misaki's POV

"Usagi! Breakfast is ready! Get out of the bed!" I yelled.

Are you serious right now?!? Do not make me get up there. The eggs will burn if I do and it will be your fault I won't make it to my job on time!

"Usagi-san...get the HELL UP! The eggs will burn if you don't!" I felt a chill go up my spine when I felt Usagi's aura. I turned around only to be snatched by him and thrown on the bed. "I'm sorry. Go back to sleep if you wish." I chuckled uneasily and tried to escape his grasp.

Usagi-san seemed pissed off since I woke him from his slumber. "Seriously Usagi-san..." I chuckle nervously. Usagi smirks at me making me deeply regret ever waking him up.

"Misaki, you know very well I cannot let you get away from me now. You brought yourself up to this." Usagi then started to pull my head forward until the doorbell rang.

"AH! Usagi-san, someone is at the door...guess I have to open it! HAHAHAhaha..a..." As I walk out of the awakening Usagi, Aikawa-san was at the door.

"Morning Misaki-kun!" she says. She looks like she hasn't slept in two days. There is only one explanation...Usagi-san. I turn around to see a half sleepy, half awake rabbit. I glared at him, hoping it had an effect.

"Stay to your deadlines for fluff's sake! It doesn't affect just you! It also affects your editor!" Misaki explained. That reminds me. My job starts in two hours and I haven't even eaten breakfast yet! Usagi must be starving as well.

I offer breakfast to Aikawa-san but she declined since she already had breakfast. The true reason she was here was not because of the manuscript Usagi SAYS he's still working on, it was to take me to Marukawa Shoten to figure out my position.

"So I will make sure you don't get lost in that building, although you have been in and out of it a couple of times. I am always here if you need any questions answered. As soon as you enter, go to the front desk and tell them you will be working there to get your position." Aikawa offered.

I am really hoping I get to edit manga like ZA KAN. If not, any manga is fine with me, as long as it suits my interests. If I don't, then I'll learn to like the manga I work with.

"I understand" I responded with an excited voice.

"Well then, I'll come back in two hours for one...you and two...Usami-sensei's manuscript. It better be done by the time I get back. heheehe." She chuckled menacingly, giving Usagi the stink eye. It even scared him a little.

Once she left, it was just me, Usagi, and *sniff* "THE FREAKING EGGS!!" I yelled as I pushed Usagi aside to check on them. The eggs were alright, slightly burnt, but edible. "This wouldn't have happened if you got off your lazy a..." He silences me with a kiss as I felt my blush go across my face. I look away and started distributing the portions evenly on the plates. I felt a giant weight slump on me, almost making me stumble and fall.

"Baka Usagi-san! I almost dropped half of it on the floor!" Usagi did not mind my yelling but he told me something that made me quite shocked and angry...

"Quit the company." Usagi said bluntly.

"Baka! I got this far and I am not giving in now! I haven't even started my job so I do not know for sure if I will or will not like it!" And I thought he was happy for me. I frown ever so slightly so he doesn't see. HE DOESN'T BELIEVE I CAN DO IT!

As soon as I sat down to eat my breakfast, we had a glare game going on. I could tell he was serious and I stared daggers into his soul (if he had one that is).

"You'll get tired of it in two months." He tells me but I refused to listen to him. I finished my breakfast and got myself into our bedroom to dress myself. As soon as I did that, he pushed me onto the bed.

"Usagi-san! Get off me!" I shouted, hoping he'd listen to me.

He whispered 'not letting you go' then he started to nibble my ear, making me burn up in the inside. His touches weren't much, but the spots where he touched were slowly heating up. "Misaki..." he whispered. He reached down to unzip my pants until the doorbell rang...again.

"AH! It's Aikawa-san!" I quickly loosened off of his grip and put on a random shirt. I quickly ran out of the room and into the hallway to meet Aikawa-san, standing at the doorway.

"Misaki-kun, let's start our path to Marukawa!" She sounded so happy for me. As soon as Aikawa-san walked out, I quickly ran back to the room and pecked Usagi's cheek. "I'll enjoy my job very much and you can't do anything about it."
