Chapter 3.
It's 5 days till I finally get to go to the Movie Seminar and meet Alan again for the 17th time. I have to start getting myself looking good and have a brand new outfit ready for it. I can hardly contain myself to the fact that I have already started to get the shakes. I get like this every time I think about seeing his wondrous face again. I headed off to work for the last time this week as I have booked the weekend off as well as the days before the movie Seminar. Lauren has never been to a movie seminar so I rubbed it in her face every day that I have met the same guy 15 times. She can't believe that he has noticed me each time I went. She said I was even lucky to be able to go to one with the way Ron treats me.
I started clearance on the isle's of bread and scone's. I wasn't really paying much attention to what I was doing as I was still so excited. I didn't even notice Ron watching me out the corner of my eye. He watched my every move waiting for the right opportune moment to strike at me, but still I had noticed him as my mind was else where.
"Oh so it's the silent treatment now is it?"
"What? Oh no it's not though I really wish it was. Oh I can imagine the pure bliss of never being able to talk yo you but that would only cause trouble with my job."
"Ahhhh I see so your job is worth more than the silent treatment. That would be your quickest escape route if you were to not talk to me as I would fire you on the spot but your cleverer than that." He chimed evilly. I just didn't say anything as I just wanted to continue with my work and ignore the hell out of that evil git.
Ron finally left me alone and I could get back to clearance. Hour's passed and it was finally time to return home. I clocked out and drove home. I walked through my front door dragging my heels across the floor.
"Honey i'm home." I said lazily knowing that there wouldn't be a reply. I walked over to my answer machine and pressed play. I had 3 messages left on it. One was from Lauren and the other two was from a very persistent boss asking me on a date. I sighed as I deleted those two and played Lauren's one.
"Hey Rebecca, sorry I couldn't tell you this at work as I didn't have time but do you think we could have time to talk. I have a cunning plan for you when you meet Alan again. Well call me when you get home and we will discuss it. Love's ya Becca." That was the end of the message. I deleted the message and called her up instantly.
"Hello?"
"Hey Lauren. What is this master plan?" She laughed.
"I'm good thanks you?" She said sarcastically.
"Ecstatic now come on spill the beans!" I demanded. She exhaled causing the phone to make a horrible sound.
"I think when you next see Alan you should ask if you could have your 15 minutes with him and invite him to your house!" It sounded wonderful.
"Lauren, you do realize you don't get to chose who you are with for those 15 minutes. If I had him I would be one very lucky and extremely happy girl. Though inviting him over would be amazing have you not seen my house and the fact that he would probably be used to rather large and wealthy houses." She sighed.
"Your right. Well I will leave you to your relaxing evening. When will I next see you?" I looked at the calendar on my wall.
"Errr Wednesday as the seminar is on Tuesday."
"Already? I will come shopping with you tomorrow then. I will book the day off. I need to get some new things anyway."
"Sound's like a plan I will call you tomorrow then. See ya Lauren."
"Bye." She hung up and I put the phone back on the charger. I made myself my dinner, had a quick bath then went to bed thinking about the sound of that brilliant master plan that would never happen in a million years.
