Chapter 25;

Emily's POV
I jolted awake once I heard my phone ringing. It scared the living shit out of me. I leaned over and grabbed it and saw it was half four in the morning. I groaned and looked to see who was calling. Mal. That's weird, she never calls unexpectedly. I swiped across and brought the phone to my ear.

Me: Hi Mal, is everything alright?
Mal: I've been thinking a lot lately.
Me: Mal it's half four in the morning and you call to say you've been thinking?
Mal: I know and I'm sorry but I have to say this.
Me: Two minutes Mal.
Mal: Do you like me?
Me: What sort of question is that Mal? Of course I like you. You are my girlfriend after all.
Mal: I know we've only been together for a month, an incredible month, and I'm in love with you. I always have been. And I know we don't get to see each other a lot because of work but I want t-
Me: Mal, what are doing?
Mal: Go outside.
Me: Mal it's freezing and I'm comfortable.
Mal: Fine then.

I heard a knock on the door and I chuckled and threw the blankets off of me and jumped off the bed. I put on my dressing gown and slippers and walked to the doors. I unlocked them and opened them. Mal stood there with a rose in her hand, smirking.

"Wasn't that hard, now was it?"
"Oh shut up. What are you doing here, at half four in the morning?"
"I missed you."
"Mal, I saw you two weeks ago. And I'll be seeing you in two weeks."
"Well sorry, I just missed you. I guess I'll go."

She turned and started to walk to the balcony but I grabbed her wrist and turned her around.

"Are you mad? You can't just leave without a kiss."

She chuckled and stepped towards me. I wrapped my arms around her neck and she wrapped hers around my waist. She leaned down so our foreheads and noses were touching.

"Hey."
"Hi gorgeous."

Our lips touched and I still felt the same rush she gave me as the first time were we kissed. I pulled away before it got too heated.

"Are you staying for the remaining hours of the night?"
"Wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
"There's a few of your shirts in the closet and grab whatever else you need."
"Yes ma'am."

She pecked my cheek and walked over to my closet. I closed the doors and locked them. I walked over to my bed and got in and immediately felt the warmth. I snuggled into the blanket and put my phone back on the table. Mal got in next to me and I snuggled into her and slowly drifted back to sleep.

Becky's POV
I finished unpacking the last box into the new house. I insisted we'd move in before the baby comes and have everything set up. Carli's due any day now and man, she's annoyingly bossy and moody. Emily is helping out a lot with controlling her but I've absolutely no idea how she does it.

I walked into the kitchen and saw Carli sitting out on the decking. I walked over and sat next to her and wrapped my arm around her.

"Beautiful, isn't it."
"It really is."

I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. Before I had feelings for Car, I never really believed in love at first sight. But once I realised my feelings, man was I whipped. I guess she knew I wasn't speaking about the view because she turned her head and chuckled.

"Smooth Broon."
"Gotta impress you somehow."
"You do. Everyday you amaze me Becky and I love you. I can't wait to start our family together."

I put my hand on her chin and leaned forward and kissed her. I groaned when I heard the phone ringing. I jumped up and ran into the kitchen and picked it up and saw it was Julie.
