Chapter 30;

Julie's POV

"So I guess that means you're my new mommy and daddy, right?"

I was taken off guard by that. We all were, except for Zach. He smiled and kissed the top of Liv's head. She looked at me as if she was searching for an answer.

"I, uh. Yes. We're your new mommy and daddy."

A smile slowly appeared on her face as she looked between Zach and I. Chris and Alyssa cooed and Liv giggled.

"Can we have a tea party?"
"I've got to leave for training in ten minutes but how about once I get back we'll watch a movie night?"
"Oh can we daddy?"
"Of course we princess."

Liv hopped off Zach's lap and ran out of the room. Chris and Alyssa stood up and walked after her. I looked at Zach and he was smiling at his hands. I scooted over so I was next to him and took his big hands in mine.

"She called me dad. I'm her dad now."

I smiled at him and kissed his cheek. I leaned my head on his shoulder and rubbed circles on my back. We heard giggling coming down the hall and Liv appeared again.

"Come on mommy! We have to find aunt Chris. She's hiding!"

Zach and I both stood up and chuckled at her. He leaned down and kissed my forehead.

"Duty calls, mommy."
"See you later?"
"I'll be home by by eight. Nine at the latest."

We walked out of the bedroom and went our separate ways. I walked down the stairs and saw Chris standing behind the door with her eyes closed. I chuckled and walked into the kitchen to see Alyssa and Liv looking all around the place.

"Geez, does she have to be good at everything?"
"Cheer up aunt Lyssa. We'll find her. Just gotta use our secret superpowers."

Lyssa and I chucked as Liv crept around the kitchen and then out. We followed her out and we both smiled when was close to Chris. Chris slowly emerged from behind the door and engulfed Liv into a huge hug causing her to scream.

"Aunt Chrissy! I found you!"
"No actually I found you."
"You did? Man you're good."

We all chuckled at Liv as she scratched her head. Zach came down the stairs with her gear bag on his back and in his training gear. He walked over and pecked my lips before walking over to Chris and kissing Liv's cheek.

"Bye princess."
"Bye daddy. See you later."

Ali's POV
You know that motherly instinct you have when you know one of your kids are hurting, or in trouble, or needing you? Well I'm feeling that way now. I don't know what it is. It's three in the morning and Ash is sound asleep next to me. I've already checked on the twins five times already so it's not them. I don't know what it is.

I closed my eyes for a second and then my phone buzzed. I reached for it and saw it was Hope calling. Emily. I quickly shot up and answered my phone.

Hope; Al, I- don't kn-know what's happening. The d-doctor called a-and said to c-co-come down quickly. Al I don't think sh-she's g-going to make it.
Me: I'll be right there. Hold on.

I jumped off the bed and ran straight for my dresser. I filled a suitcase and changed into sweats and one of Ashlyn's oversized jumpers. The lamps turned on and Ash groggily sat up.
