Prologue

         She was coming.
A wild rouge from another pack on our territory.
The guard's said she was young but there was no mistake from her scent.
She was a wild thing.

I was a hunter she was the prey.
I knew where to go I knew where to hide.
I knew how to wait and I knew how to chase.
She was my prey and she wouldn't get away.

I could hear her heart pounding before she even was near.
But when she did I was mesmerized.
She was a human running though the woods barefooted outrunning a few of my best men.
She wisped past me in seconds and I let out a low feral growl to the men chasing her, warning them she was mine to catch, yet they followed anyway.
I barked and I growled and I took off digging my nails into the dirt ripping up the grass in my path.
She was escaping.
He was furious trying to take over, struggling to breakfree.
I mindlinked the eastern guards to block off her path.
Minutes passed and she was miles from the border hundreds less than when I sighted her.
And then they were there dripping in sweat and blocking off the girl.
Quickly the men following me encircled her and I jumped behind a tree to the stash of sweats and a plain white tee hid.
I shifted and came out to meet the rouge on my land and stopped short when I took in her features.
Her glossy hair unkept billowed around her shoulders,
her feet bloodied and arms scratched,
unshed tears and fear radiating off her.
Why she was just a girl.
A werewolve girl crying in my presence.
I watched her like a lion stalking gazelle.
Taking in her every breath her every action as little as a toe scrunching up in pain.
She was small. Just a little girl no women at all.
She wore a white dress designed in nothing but lace.
it was rather beautiful if it hadn't been destroyed in the chase.

"What pack have you left?"
Nothing just a confused scrunched face.
One of my men barked in protest on her not answering and she yelped out in fear and jumped towards me.
almost as if she's never even seen a wolf before.
Is that possible?
Is she possibly as innocent as I had pinned her to be?
So innocent she wasn't trained or even taught of her lifestyle?
But if that's the case she has to be younger than seventeen.
Huffing I I know there only one way to find out.
I shift.
Her shriek of fright is enough to set me overboard as my wolf takes over he lunges at her and immediately starts nipping at her neck wanting her innocence.
