[Hermione's POV]

Thanks to the help of the Ministry, Hermione's parents were brought back from Australia and their memory corrected. The first couple of weeks, all she could do was apologise, but then again, it was for their best interest.

"Hermione, tea's ready!"

"Yes, mum." She called back from upstairs.

"Here you are, honey."

"Thanks mum," she took a sip of her tea, mmm peppermint tea.

"So, 'Mione. Who is this Draco again?" her dad asked and her cheeks turned a rosy colour, "The one that invited us over to his house.

"He's a good friend of mine, the Head Boy too actually."

"Well then we should invite him over for dinner some time seeing as he's invited us over for lunch."

"I'll write him a letter," she excused herself and took her cup for tea up to her room.

Dear Draco,

Thank you for the owl, she is absolutely beautiful. I've decided to name her Periwinkle, but I can't believe you don't know how to spell my name! H-E-R-M-I-O-N-E. Honestly, Draco...

My parents glad excepted your mum's invitation for lunch, and in return, they've decided to invite you over for dinner. Yes, Draco. Don't freak out, it's only a muggle house. If you do accept - which I hope you do - we'll be having mashed potato and roasted chicken.

I'll be over at the Weasleys' this Saturday so you'll have to meet me at The Burrow. And do mind your manners, they're really nice people, Draco.

Anyway, please owl me your reply preferably ASAP.

Warmest of regards,

Hermione

She tied the letter to Periwinkle's leg and sent her off the Malfoy Manor. Only moments later, Periwinkle returned with a dark brown owl with sleek feathers, "Hello, and who might you be?" Periwinkle nipped her finger, "Oh sorry, you did great Peri."

She untied the letter from the owl's leg and began to read it.

Dear HERMIONE,

Yes, my mother and I would be delighted to come over to your house for dinner. And she'd also like me to ask you if you muggles do anything special that we should be aware about? Like maybe some kind of custom?

And I promise to be on my best behaviour at the Weasel's house.

Best wishes,

DM

She let out a laugh and been to write her reply;

Dear Draco,

No, we do not have any kind of special customs. And you better be on your best behaviour, I've had enough trouble explaining to them why I wasn't hexing you to smithereens!

See you soon,

Hermione

She sent off her reply and collapsed onto her bed with a goofy grin on her face. Draco was coming to her house. For some ridiculous reason, she was excited about this minor, minor event. It's only Draco right? She smiled to herself and fell asleep.

[The next day]

Hermione said goodbye to her parents and apparated to The Burrow only to be greet by another set of parents. "Hermione darling, you look wonderful!"
