[General POV]

Malfoy Manor had been transformed indeed. The dark skinny limbs of the dying trees had flourished into thick branches with healthy green leaves sprouting from them. The pathway that led from the gates to the manor itself had been decorated with rose bushes and little clumps of mint leaves, both peppermint and spearmint which Hermione was sure was Draco's touch. The ball room was no longer dark and empty like it had once been when Voldemort took it as his fort but cream coloured banners and a beautiful gleaming chandelier hung from the walls and ceiling and giant bouquets of roses and other flowers stood at the four corners of the room. It wasn't exactly a huge wedding with hundreds of guests but just a small wedding - that Draco made sure was as extravagant as ever - for their friends and family members.

The wedding would start at three o'clock and finish at seven o'clock, after that they would head to Shell Cottage for the "after-wedding party". It was nearing three o'clock and Draco was waiting at the front of the ball room, rocking back and forth feet as he kept glancing nervously down the cream coloured carpet that lead from the looming door to the raised levelling where they were going to say their vows and exchange rings.

"You alright?" Blaise who was his best man asked.

"No. But I should be because I'm getting married, right?" Draco let out a long breath and rubbed his hands together, "I shouldn't be nervous. I shouldn't be, I mean, I wasn't nearly half as nervous when I got married to Astoria!"

"Maybe that's because you didn't exactly want to marry her," he shrugged, "it was kind of an arranged marriage right?"

Draco shrugged and starting to rock on his heels again.

"Mate, look." Blaise grabbed him by the shoulders and spun him around, "You don't have to be scared, she wants to marry you. Just say your vows and kiss!"

"I know, I know, I just - this is different, you know?"

"Frankly, I don't because I haven't been married before - look, Astoria's here." Blaise returned her wave and beckoned her over.

"Hey, you both look amazing!" Astoria beamed and gave them both a hug. She wore a dark emerald gown that went from one shoulder and fell to the ground. "Draco, you nervous?"

"Geez, what gave that away?" Draco said and cracked a smile, "This is a weird sense of deja-vu but look, it should start in a minute or so, so why don't you find a seat?"

"You'll be fine." She gave his hand an encouraging squeeze, "I just saw Hermione and Merlin, she looks absolutely gorgeous, you'll be knocked off your feet, believe me."

"Her dress is so cool, it's like made with magic all twinkly and stuff." Blaise chimed in a offered to escort Astoria to her table.

"How come you've all seen it?" The blonde asked, astounded.

"Because we're not gonna marry her!" Blaise grinned at Draco who only rolled his eyes, "I'll be right back." He grinned at the groom once more and lead Astoria to her table.

"Stupid muggle tradition." he muttered to nobody in particular and waited for Blaise to return. He turned around to see Professor Mcgonagall behind him, "Professor!"

"Quite a wedding you've got planned," the elderly woman said with a warm smile.

"Haha yeah, my mum, she wanted a super fancy wedding even if it wasn't for a big crowd." They exchanged a hug, "Thank you for coming here and being our officiant."

"It's an honour," she clasped her hands together in front of her, "By the way, have you seen Hermione? She looks absolutely stunning! Almost a different person to the girl with bushy hair who was always shooting her hand to answer my questions in class."
