I couldn't stop thinking about what happened in the Hospital Wing. I hadn't told Scorpius but I was awake when he visited me. I felt his fingers brush over mine, a light tingle on my cheek and the soft sound as he whispered my name. He only stayed for a few minutes and I wish he stayed longer. What would have happened if he thought I was awake? Would it still have happened? Would he even visit me at all? However, I knew one thing for certain: I wanted more.

On Sunday evening, I meandered down to the courtyard where I would find Scorpius. I knew he always studied at this time and the courtyard was usually empty. I had just borrowed a t-shirt from a girl in my dormitory of a muggle band and had my curly red hair confined in a loose ponytail. I saw a head of tousled blonde hair leant over a textbook and knew it was Scorpius. He absent-mindedly sucked on the end of a quill and as he spotted me, his face broke into a wide smile that reached his eyes. "Hello Rose," he greeted enthusiastically. I sat on the bench next to him and realised I should have brought a book or something as a reason to be here at all. "Aren't you cold?" He asked. I guess I hadn't thought about the weather in my excitement to see him and didn't even realise how cold it was. I rubbed my bare arms and shook my head. He pulled off his jacket and draped it around my shoulders nevertheless. It was warm and smelled like him. I had heard of a potion called amortentia that smells like what appeals to you the most and knew that this would be what it smelled of. As he moved closer I felt a different warmth that spread through my whole body. I muttered my thanks and turned my head slightly to look into his grey eyes. My eyes occasionally trailed down to his pale lips. Our heads were now a few inches apart. If we moved slightly we would be touching. He looked at me even more intently and pressed his lips lightly to mine. I definitely didn't feel cold anymore.
