Chapter 14 - two teams

A/N- Darcie's singing voice is like Madison Beer's. Just imagine Kendall Vertes on stage sounding like that💘 The performance is above ^^

" and now welcoming to the stage, the squad you all love, who have one of the largest fan bases " The man introduced us, as the music began and we ran onto the stage.
It made me feel like I was on tour again with my friends, and it felt amazing. Was that true what he said? One of the largest fanbases? That's crazy!
Everyone was screaming our names, as we sat down on some stools in the centre of the stage.
It eventually calmed down a little bit, as Grayson began speaking into the microphone.
He spoke to the crowd, and we answered some questions which was really funny.

We were now split off into two teams, me and my friends, and then the kids. We were going to have a dance battle, since that's what we used to do on tour and it brings back so many hilarious memories.
" I'm team captain! " Blake shouted into his mic, as everyone cheered.
" how about the oldest of each group gets to be team captain " Grayson said, as Blake groaned which laughed at.
" don't be a baby " Ariel giggled, slapping his cheek playfully which made the audience laugh.
" okay, so that means Cameron is our team captain and Jayden is theirs " I said, and both of the Dallas's stepped forward.
" you're on dad " Jayden laughed, as Cameron rolled his eyes.
The music turned on, and I instantly started dancing crazily on our side of the stage with everyone. The song playing was Symphony by Zara Larsson and Clean Bandit, and it was so energetic and loud on stage. Everyone was loving it though, the crowd yelling the lyrics and laughing at the dance moves people attempted to pull off. We even brought a few fans onstage, which made me think back to the Squad Tour even more.

After the hilarious dance off, we thought it would be a nice idea to have Darcie sing. Her voice is so beautiful, and she's currently working on a few songs. She set up the microphone, and the fans screamed in excitement while filming the moment. As soon as she was ready, the crowd calmed down while the music began, and she sang the lyrics effortlessly to a cover of Stay with me.

As she sang I felt my heart melt, she's so talented and sounds amazing while singing. I know she really enjoys it too, which makes it ten times more special.
As soon as she stopped singing, the crowd erupted with cheers and screams, all impressed and excited about her performance. She gave us all a hug, and sat back down next to us.
That was her first live performance, and it definitely won't be her last.

" Thank you all so much for coming " Ariel smiled, as we all got ready to close the show.
Just as I was about to speak, the lights shut off onstage, as a large screen lit up behind us.
We turned around in confusion, staring at the screen before our faces appeared and everyone screamed. A video began to play, with adorable music in the background. It had the twins first video, my first video, Blake's first video, Ariel's, Weston's, and everyone's. Many little clips of each one were put into the collage, edited to perfection to fit together. Then our collabs came up, with the videos of us all together as friends having a great time. Just as I thought it couldn't get any more emotional, a clip of Grayson and I announcing our engagement played. You could hear us talking, and as soon as we spoke the crowd went wild, all in tears at the video. It then had Cameron and Kendall's wedding video, as well as the first time seeing Jayden. I cried at scene, watching us all holding Jayden in our arms for the first time brought back so many emotions.

All of the kids watched in awe, practically watching our life before them. The video carried on, welcoming each child into the collage and watching them grow up. It was like a time lapse of our lives, which only lasted around seven minutes.
We were all in tears, crying as the video ended and the crowd cheered.
" somebody needs to send me that " Hunter said, as everyone laughed.

We finished the show, all emotional wrecks at what we'd just watched. That was the most amazing thing I've ever seen, and nothing could ruin this day.

At least I thought that until we turned a corner, revealing exactly who I didn't want to see...
