The following day Stiles made it his mission to learn almost everything he could about witchcraft, especially about the tools he was given. He'd decided he'd call Rosey to tell her he'd take her up on her offer. She was happy but already knew he'd come around. She told him he could start Tuesday if he liked, and he agreed. Then after that he was determined he was going to be get answers from his father. He waited, book clutched in his hands at his computer desk, for his father to come home, he read then stopped then read again thinking random noises outside was his father pulling up, but it wasn't so he returned to reading, an hour and a half later he heard his dad pulling up in the driveway ("finally" he thought), he threw his book on the bed then waited to hear his father come in and get comfortable. He heard him put his keys down and walk around downstairs, this was it, he was nervous but ready more then ever. After a good minute of reassuring deep breaths and a small pep talk he took his last deep breath then he left his room. He walked so fast he nearly knocked into his father who was getting a mug.

"Good morning Stiles". He said pouring himself some coffee.

"Good morning dad". Stiles said.

His father studied him for a second, his mug raised to his lips, he watched as stiles jittered his feet, wet his lips more than necessary, and afterwards bit his lip. He took key notes of his sons odd body language, he knew Stiles was up to something or wanted something so knowing it was ready to be revealed to what Stiles wanted he shrugged and took a sip of his coffee. Stiles watching his father, his heart thumping against his ribs as if it were in a marathon, to wait when he'd stop drinking his coffee then he cleared his throat.

"What is it?" He asked taking a seat.

"I know we don't really talk much anymore but it's something I really need to know, and I need you to tell me the truth it's...it's important, well to me it is". Stiles told him.

He rubbed at his neck and bit at his lips, his hands had gone clammy and he'd tried his best to not flee as he needed to know the truth. He'd stopped himself from anymore of his flimsy, jerky, movements and cleared his mind. He knew, though he wanted to wait, it wasn't a good time, for his dad knowing he just got off work; that it was too early to be having this conversation but when wasn't it a good time his dad was always working late, especially with all the new supernatural creatures, and the countless of bodies they somehow always left around, roamed into and about Beacon Hills, he couldn't wait and he wasn't going to.

"About what Stiles?" His father asked, just as nervous as Stiles was.

"I know mom was a witch". Stiles blurted, Noah remained quiet his forehead beaded with spots of sweat.

"I-I mean was mom a witch?" Stiles stammered, his voice higher in pitch than usual, still Noah remained quiet. "I just... I need to know if mom was a witch". Stiles said, as Noah stared at him.

"I Uh". Noah stammered as he rose his mug to drink a bit of his coffee, "I-I uh well I umm...I don't know what your talking about". His father stuttered.

Stiles had definitely surprised him with this one, and from what he was hearing with all the stuttering he'd knew his mother was a witch but why hadn't she told him or dropped any hints?

"So this whole time you've known and didn't tell me?" He said his voice brittle, as the hurt of his fathers secret filled him more then rage, it was like a thousand pound weight was dropped on his head, his father was the only one he knew who never lied to him and now that was broken. Disappointed, Stiles went to his room shutting the door, quieter then expected, locking it. All he wanted now was to be alone.

"Stiles". Scott called before coming in the window.

Of course, he thought. He guess that was too much to ask for, but it was Scott his best friend who always been there for him, he let him slide because he knew he'd need his only support system through this not so shocking revelation.
