Derek rushed out of the house and scurried to his car.
'Can we talk?' he texted Stiles before pulling off.

Instead of watching movies like they had planned they all sat, open ears, as Stiles told them all about being a witch.

"So you can cast Love spells and stuff?" Lydia asked.

"Yeah but you wouldn't need it your not hard to miss". Stiles told her and she blushed.

"So do you have to be born a witch?" Allison asked as curiosity swept across her face.

"No not really, you can become a witch through self study or a coven". Stiles replied before eating some popcorn.

"Cool sign me up". Allison told him.

"Okay". Stiles laughed thinking it was a joke, Allison stared at him seriously and he took a deep breath then asked, "are...are you serious?"

"Yes!". Allison shook her head, "I'm so tired of using archery, I mean it's cool and all but imagine me being a witch and telekinetically catching my target".

"Uhh well I guess so, why not". Stiles shrugged.

"Yes". Allison leaped smiling harder then ever.

Before Stiles could say anything else he looked down at his phone and saw that Derek texted him that he wanted to talk.

"Les what is it?" Allison asked seeing the excitement of their conversation fade from his face. Lydia and Danny looked over at Allison, they found it weird that she called Stiles Les and he answered. But that was their thing he called her Alley and she called him Les it was their own personal nicknames for each other, their friendship had seemingly risen since he found her more easy to talk to then Scott.

"Oh it's nothing just my father checking up on me". He smiled weakly.

Allison felt skeptical about it and studied his movements from there on out.

Stiles didn't want to talk to Derek, it wasn't because he didn't care for him him it was because he did and every time Derek gave him a single glance he somehow melted and was able to conform to Derek's will. He knew that all Derek had to do was beam his croaked smile and he'd do anything. But not having to deal with Derek's hot and cold, callous emotions for four weeks Stiles thought it wouldn't hurt the big bad wolf if he no longer wanted to talk to him, after all he was just a trigger and it would eventually wear off sooner or later. And Stiles didn't want to still be having feelings for Derek who would be somewhere else doing god knows what.

Buzz. Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.

Stiles phone vibrated wildly in his pocket. He pulled it out and awkwardly smiled at Allison, who eyed him suspiciously, and saw Derek had sent him several new messages.

Stiles I know you saw my message he read the first one So can we talk?

He read the next one, he was about to read the third one but before he did he looked up cautiously to see if Allison had been eyeing him and she wasn't she was busy talking to Danny and Lydia.

Look Stiles I really need to talk to you.

Stiles's breathing became shallow as he read the next one I don't want to talk over the phone either.

Derek knew Stiles all too well, he knew he would have called him and talked to him that way, and he knew beggars can't be choosers but he wanted to talk to Stiles face to face.

Can you just meet me?

He didn't want to talk to Derek but what if it was about Isaac or Scott, after all he wasn't truly communicative to his best friend much for those four weeks.
